Most of the JtV Cast has flawless taste, is #TeamMichael!

Entertainment Weekly chatted with the cast at the Jane the Virgin PaleyFest red carpet last week and even they couldn't front when it comes to Jane and Michael's amazing chemistry!

- Andrea Navedo (Xiomara), Jaima Camil (Rogelio my brogelio~) and Yael Grobglas (Petra) and even Jane herself, Gina Rodriguez are all on Team Michael!

- Gina says that to her, Michael represents the stability that a woman in her later years wants from a long-term partner.

- Brett Dier, who plays Michael, says that Michael is a good-hearted guy, and while some watchers might think he is still withholding some bad secret, he isn't!

- Jaime gives us a tease on some upcoming Michael stuff: Michael is too 'nice' and that the viewers are going to see Michael find some cojones towards the end of the season.

She said, ""Every movies I've done I've had to fight for lines and fight for point of view. Usually it's a male director, male producers. It's all very much a man's point of view."
"I speak up and say 'Girls don't do that.' Or 'That's not something a girl would say in that situation", she said. "Even if I'm wrong, even if I get shut down, I know that I've done my part to get a woman's voice out there."

she talked about how hard it was to get real roles when she decided to act

She continued: "I was ready to give up on it. Or not give up, but take a break.

"When I finally got a serious role to audition for, I cried on the phone, I was so happy. Not even a film, just an audition."

“This will win best picture,” Diesel said. “There is nothing that will ever come close to the power of this thing.”

  • ICYMI, Ruth Negga, who was also in Misfits, is playing Tulip O'Hare.

  • They will start filming the pilot this summer.

- The Phi Kappa Psi fraternity at University of Virginia which was the subject of a sensationalized Rolling Stone article with multiple inaccuracies about sexual assault on college campuses is considering legal action
- Rolling Stone will publish an external review of the article in a few weeks
- Charlottesville police have said there is no evidence that the subject of the piece took place

George was asked at the premiere his thoughts on the show spoiling the books. His response:

"This whole concept of spoilers is one that I've never gotten. Yes, there's a pleasure when you're reading a book, or watching a television show — What will happen next? Who will win? Who will lose? But that is by no means the only reason to watch a movie or a television show. It's not the only reason to read a book.

"I read a lot of historical fiction, you know? I know who won the Civil War — it's not a spoiler to me. But I can still enjoy Gettysburg, even though I know how the battle came out. I can still enjoy historical fiction about the Wars of the Roses, even though I know who won the Wars of the Roses. And for that matter, I still enjoy watching Citizen Kane every few years even though I know 'Rosebud' is the sled. So there — I just gave a terrible spoiler to all the people who haven't seen Citizen Kane. Rosebud is the sled, but nonetheless, you should still watch Citizen Kane, because it's incredible!"
