Will Ferrell was a former Delta Tau Delta at USC, and he started his own fraternity in "Old School", but he recently questioned the purpose of their existence after a video showed the OU chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon doing a racist chant together.


"The incident in Oklahoma, that is a real argument for getting rid of the system altogether, in my opinion, even having been through a fraternity,"

"Because when you break it down, it really is about creating cliques and clubs and being exclusionary. Fraternities were started as academic societies that were supposed to have a philanthropic arm to them"

British singer and "Rock School" star Lil' Chris dies aged 24

Chris Hardman, known by his stage name Lil' Chris has died.

He had found fame on the reality TV show "Rock Show", where he was tutored by Gene Simmons, who expressed his sadness about the news on twitter.



Other British celebrities who had known the young singer also tweeted their condolences:




Lil Chris had a short but fairly successful solo career, releasing songs such as "Checkin' It Out".

The cause of death has yet to be established, the circumstances are not being reported as suspicious.

"Danish Girl" is currently filming in Copenhagen. Over 10 locations will be used, with some doubling as Paris (where Lili Elbe spent part of her life).

In the true story, Einar is persuaded by his wife Gerda Wegener, a Danish illustrator, to pose for her in women’s clothes after one of her models failed to show.

I just graduated from vet school! \o/ Has anyone else read the book? Been DYING to discuss it with someone. There are a bunch of scenes in it that I doubt will make it in the movie yet they're what impacted me the most. There's also some content that I'm iffy about because they imply stuff about Lili's gender identity that I don't necessarily agree with because I don't think certain details were true irl even though they play big parts in the fictional version...

Rumor: Britney to join Viva Glam campaign by MAC cosmetics + Offered TV Role on twitter

According to rumors Britney Spears could be the next face of MAC cosmetics joining the ranks of Rihanna, and Miley Cyrus by fronting the company's Viva Glam campaign to fight AIDS. Allegedly negotiations are in the final stages that could see the Pop icon expand her already established beauty empire consisting of a highly successful fragrance line that has grossed a billion dollars to date, a haircare line and lingerie line.

Not known for her makeup prowess this could be an interesting choice if Spears' team ponied up the money to hire a more competent beauty team of professionals to handle her Vegas and red carpet appearances.



The producer of which show offered her a guest starring role on twitter?



A fan of the show the Fosters innocently tweeted the Executive producer & Creator of the show to ask him to have Britney Spears guest star on the show. Surprisingly enough the producer responded and extended the invitation directly to Ms. Spears.



The Fosters is a one hour drama about a family made up of a mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. Spears has yet to respond to the tweet as she has been m.i.a. on twitter.

um Can we get Lee Daniels or somebody to offer her a role on Empire instead?

On Saturday Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform at midnight at Revolution Life in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Being the busy man that he is and all, Wayne didn't bother to show up until 3:30 AM.  By that time his fans were coming down and starting to get cranky.

One fan, who probably would have been a douche even if Lil Wayne was on time, used his iPhone to create scrolling messages that read "Shut the fuck up and put on Weezy" and later "Fuck Weezy." The same "fan" also apparently threw a beer bottle at the stage before Lil Wayne started his performance.

“Before I get started, somebody threw a motherfuckin’ beer at me. I know it ain’t nothing but a motherfuckin’ white boy, ‘cause n----s don’t drink no fuckin’ beer,” Wayne told the crowd. (video here)

Weezy then pointed out the man to his security, who marched up to the dude and punched him to the floor.  After security carried the man out, Lil Wayne played two and a half songs for the rest of his fans, who had waited over three hours to see him perform.  Sounds like a killer show!  Photos after the cut...

"Howdy.

We’re Broken Lizard.

Several moons ago, we made a little indie movie called Super Troopers, which we debuted at Sundance in 2001. We’re proud of how it turned out and apparently it struck a chord with many of you out there because almost daily we get asked “Who wants a mustache ride?” ("Who doesn’t?") or “Did you chug real maple syrup?” ("Yes, and we will never, ever, ever do it again.") or “How is the view from sugar heaven?” ("Sweet.")

But more than anything else, we get asked:

Well, guess what chickenfuckers?
We finally have an answer.

We’ve been waiting for years to do this, and meow the time has come. Our mustaches are thick, furry, and authoritative. The script is written and we’re getting all antsy in our pantsy to start shooting. There’s just one problem:

While the studio has given us permission to make the sequel, and agreed to distribute it (at least in the USA and Canada), we need to fund the movie ourselves.

So this is how it works: if we’re able to raise at least $2,000,000 in the next month, we’ll be able to get to work on a barebones version of Super Troopers 2 this summer. But $2,000,000 is the bare minimum we’ll need to get into production.

We’ve got some big stuff in the script, and if we’re able to raise enough money, you’ll get to see all of it. The more we raise, the more amazing stuff we can put in the movie. More action, more cameos, more shenanigans, and fine, more Farva."

I wish I had money to donate. I loved Super Troopers. I hope they're filming it in the same area as the first one, so I can go see the filming.
