Teen Wolf S3 Countdown: 100 Days

$

0

LA TV Insider Examiner was on-set with Posey (and the rest of the Teen Wolf crew, but we'll get to them closer to premiere) in Los Angeles recently to see what everyone's favorite Beacon Hills High werewolves, hunters, and laymen have been up to.

"Towards the end of the second season, Scott was kind of getting behind in school, and he was putting everything before school and trying to save people, and he has since prioritized his life. He’s doing great in school; he’s reading every day; he’s doing a bunch of pull-ups—one-armed pull-ups, by the way! So Scott is really trying to take care of himself. He wants to feel good about himself, so to do that he really has to be proactive and responsible, and he’s in a great place, even [with] the break-up," Posey said.

Season three of Teen Wolf will take place a few months after season two left off. Since Colton Haynes departed the series, the show will take a moment to explain Jackson's equal departure, which will cause mixed emotions for the group. Obviously someone like Lydia (Holland Roden) will probably be devastated, but Posey previewed a "happier" Scott without Jackson breathing down his neck.

"Jackson was really the only guy in their group that stressed Scott out. There was tension between them, and Scott’s a good guy; he doesn’t want that. I think that’s part of why Scott’s in a good place—because there is no Jackson. And Jackson was going through a lot of crazy stuff!" Posey said.

As Posey mentioned, Scott and Allison (Crystal Reed) are still broken up when season three opens, but being that they go to school together and are both heavily involved in the supernatural side of town, they will be thrust together a lot. While it might be uncomfortable or awkward at times, Posey said he considers there to always be hope that the two might rekindle their romance: "You never lose your feelings for your first love unless they kill you!"

But it may be awhile before either of them can really think that way or focus on normal teenage relationship drama in the first place. There is a new pack of wolves in town, and this time, they're Alphas. That brings along a whole new set of problems and danger as they work to infiltrate Beacon Hills however they can.

"They’ve been lurking but in the shadows. No one knows about them. They’ve been in hiding. The first episode is when you first get a glimpse of how big and how scary they are," Posey said.

"It's a year later since [Scott] was first introduced to an Alpha, so he’s got an understanding of what they are; he knows his own strengths and abilities; and he knows how powerful Alphas are...[but] everyone is just evil!"

Teen Wolf season three will air on Monday nights at 10 p.m. on MTV, starting June 3rd 2013.

Thick of It star Peter Capaldi will play Leonardo Da Vinci in a new 3D dramatised documentary based on the Italian's journals.

The show will air on Sky Arts 2 and Sky 3D.

Da Vinci's journals feature over 6,000 pages of notes and drawings and chronicle the life of the world's most renowned inventor, philosopher, painter and genius.

The show will use stunning visual effects and 3D technology to recreate the polymath's mindscape and ideas.

"Leonardo's journals are an extraordinary body of work, highlighting Da Vinci's position at the vanguard of ideas, thought and design. It's wholly fitting therefore, that his works are being brought to life in such a creative way with the use of Sky's cutting edge 3D technology," said James Hunt, channel director of Sky Arts.

"Sky Arts and Sky 3D customers will be captivated by the stunning visualisations of his work and by Peter Capaldi's performance which impassions the eclectic and brilliant mind of this 15th century genius."

Inside the Mind of Leonardo airs on Sunday, March 24 at 9pm on Sky Arts 2 and Sky 3D.

ONE DIRECTION KICK OFF THEIR TOUR!

Who's Angry At the Best Picture nominees?

$
0
0

Short answer: everybody. A roundup of who's up in arms against which film.

"Argo"

"Amour"

  • Austria. Although director Michael Haneke is the country's highest-profile filmmaker in years, the nation is piqued that his new highly celebrated work was filmed in French, declaring it ineligible for the top prize at Austria's own film awards. In response, the director withdrew the film from the event entirely.

"Beasts of the Southern Wild"

"Django Unchained"

"Life of Pi"

"Silver Linings Playbook"

  • Gen Y. Many of whom reacted in disgust to the depiction of the creepy, angry Gen X character played by Bradley Cooper's relationship with millennial It girl Jennifer Lawrence.

  • The NFL, which pulled an interview with Cooper and costar Chris Tucker from one of its game broadcasts because the film"included content related to gambling on NFL games."

  • Mental health advocates, some of whom felt the film contained a romanticized or inaccurate depiction of mental illness.

The CW Selects Israeli Actress Yael Grobglas for The Selection

The CW has been trying to get its Hunger Games-esque "The Selection" on the air since last year's pilot season, and now that they have a retooled script for this year, they've hired a new lead actress. Read on for the details.

Per Deadline, Israeli actress Yael Grobglas has landed the sought-after role of America Singer in The CW's "The Selection." Unknown to US audiences, Grobglas previously toplined the Israeli series "Tanuhi" ("Give it a Rest") and appeared in the film Kalevet (Rabies).

Last year the part was played by Aimee Teegarden ("Friday Night Lights"), but she's tied up with another CW pilot this year, "Oxygen."

The pilot was (re)written by Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain based on the book by Kiera Cass. "The Selection" is set 300 years in the future and is about 35 working-class young women who are chosen via a lottery to participate in a competition for the Royal Prince's hand in marriage, which would make the winner the new queen. Our heroine is forced to balance loyalty to family, true love, and kingdom as she tries to stay true to herself in the cutthroat competition, all while a growing rebellion threatens to crush the crown. Warner Brothers is producing.

Oscar Nominee Quvenzhane Wallis Thanks Babysitter In Acceptance Speech

Quvenzhane Wallis is the youngest ever Oscar nominee, winning a Best Actress nod aged just nine. Ahead of the Academy Awards on Sunday, she's already picked up a gong for Best Breakthrough Performance at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards and showing her age, she thanked her babysitter in her acceptance speech!

Whether she picks up an Oscar on Sunday or not, Quvenzhane Wallis got a chance to thank the people that made it possible to play her role in Beasts Of The Southern Wild on Thursday when she won Best Actress at the Black Women in Hollywood Awards, hosted by Oprah. The nine year-old couldn't wait to thank her babysitter!

"I would like to thank everyone who helped me play this part, and everyone who was there for me, and my babysitter who was on set," said the child.

The mini fashionista looked adorable in a pink and white dress, teamed with her signature accessory - a fluffy handbag in the shape of a puppy!

Asked if one of her doggy bags would be chosen for the red carpet at the Oscars, Quvenzhane wasn't sure what to say:

"Um, my mom knows," she told reporters on the carpet before sitting down for Oprah's luncheon.

"You'll have to watch!"

At the same ceremony, Oprah reduced the audience to tears as she accepted the Power award. Oprah Winfrey acknowledged the nine graduates, who were all in attendance, of her Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy For Girls:

"I never wanted to be a mother, but I am humbled by this day". Aww!

Do you think Quvenzhane deserves the Oscar gong?

"5 Broken Cameras" Review

$

Palestine rarely gets mentioned in U.S. politics. These days, politicians have to pledge their undying allegiance to Israel – no matter what Israel does or does not do – for whatever reason. Just take one look at the 2012 Republican primaries where Newt Gingrich actually came out saying Palestinians are an “invented” people.

5 Broken Cameras shows that he couldn’t be further from the truth.

The documentary, the majority of which is filmed on five different video cameras after each is broken (one even takes a bullet), reveals the harrowing day-to-day struggles of Palestinian men, women, and children living in Bil’in – a village located in the West Bank.

Emad Burnat, the filmmaker, initially bought a camera in order to film the arrival of his fourth son, Gibreel. From there, he ends up filming important events in the community. From multiple occasions of tear gas being thrown at non-violent protesters to IDF militants storming people’s houses and arresting children in the middle of the night, it’s all captured on his cameras.

If you’re looking for broader context, this isn’t the film for you – but it’s an extremely important film, all the same. Burnat never sets out to do more than just record what’s happening in his own village, within his own community. Yet, it’s really eye-opening.

5 Broken Cameras also shows us the strong sense of friendship, hope, and resilience among the villagers of Bil’in who somehow manage to find the inner strength to keep on going. They endure arrests and indefinite imprisonments without being formally charged or receiving proper due process of law. People are frequently injured, some fatally.

Burnat himself is both imprisoned and seriously wounded, and his camera is never far away when it’s all happening.

The main conflict is the encroaching illegal settlements on Palestinian land, which despite being illegal even by Israeli standards, continue to be built at a rapid rate. The Palestinians use various non-violent methods in order to stop the settlements, and while they’re thwarted by both the Israeli army and Jewish settlers at every turn, they never give up.

The visual that struck me the most when watching is when Burnat’s son Gibreel, a doe-eyed toddler, literally hands one of the Israeli soldiers standing guard an olive branch.

5 Broken Cameras is one of the films nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. You can stream it on Netflix or Amazon, and if you haven’t done so already, I highly recommend that you watch it.

Q&A: SKY FERREIRA

WITH HER DEBUT ALBUM COMING OUT NEXT MONTH,THE 20-YEAR-OLD INDIE-POP SIREN (AND MODEL) IS MAKING HER OWN RULES. NUMBER ONE: DON'T TOUCH THE HAIR!

INTERVIEW BY DARRELL HARTMAN

MARCH 2013 ISSUE

DETAILS: You got your big break on MySpace. But your social-media persona has also made you some enemies.
Sky Ferreira: I'm pretty sarcastic, and sometimes that doesn't come across on the Internet. It seems like I'm being rude or stupid. So I get shit for anything I say. There's always someone who'll respond on Twitter and give me a hard time. But it's the funniest thing: These kids try to bully me online, and then they all come to my shows!

DETAILS: Are you a sensitive person?
Sky Ferreira: I'm definitely a crier. I get really emotional if someone's being rude or says something mean about me. But I'm not usually a person who cries in public. I leave quietly and cry in the car.

DETAILS: You stalk actor Michael Madsen in the video for your 2010 single "Obsession," and you recorded a song with the chorus "My secret lover is 108." Do you have a thing for older guys?
Sky Ferreira: I've never dated younger. A lot of people my age are still figuring out what they want to do, whereas I always knew. So many girls I know, their boyfriend is living at their house and not working. I don't want a guy like that.

DETAILS: Did you get in a lot of trouble in school?
Sky Ferreira: I got kicked out for truancy. And I always got dress-code violations. I got kicked out of summer camp, too. It was a Jesus camp, and I wanted to go home. So when two girls in my cabin got caught with pot, I was like, "Yeah, I did it too!" They walked us all into a room and were like, "Jesus is really disappointed in you. You guys need to pray."

DETAILS: Michael Jackson was a family friend. What was that like?
Sky Ferreira: My grandmother worked on his hair for, like, 30 years, so I kind of grew up with him. I knew he was a big singer with a cool house, but I didn't know he was, like, Michael Jackson.

DETAILS: Your grandmother raised you. What does she think of your signature blonde mane?
Sky Ferreira: She's been trying to comb my hair since I was a little kid. And that's how I would wake up in the morning—with her chasing me around with a hairbrush. Even now, I'll be at her house and suddenly I'll feel this big paddle brush yank through my hair. She tries to sneak up on me! Obviously I would never hit her, but if anyone else ever tried that, I'd slap them.

Octavia Spencer & Viola Davis Reunite For Women In Film

The goal of the soiree? For women to celebrate each other (and hire each other, too). Plus, stars dished on their Oscars gowns.

Together again: the women of The Help rang in another awards season together at a pre-Oscar cocktail party Friday night at Fig & Olive. Octavia Spencer and Viola Davis reunited at the soiree for Women in Film, a non-profit organization dedicated to women achieving in the entertainment industry.

Spencer, who co-hosted the event and will present at Sunday's ceremony, said last year's road to Oscar wasn't as stressful as one might think. "You know what, maybe I'm crazy but there was no pressure for me last year," she said. "I never had hope that I would win anything. So just being there and celebrating the entire journey with people that I loved, and my close friends like Melissa McCarthy and Jessica Chastain last year - and getting to celebrate Jessica again this year with her nomination - I'm excited. It's different. It's very different but there was never any pressure. I'm just ready to have a good time again."

Chastain was there, too (with her boyfriend, Gian Luca Passe de Preposulo), although she ran into a snafu en route to the restaurant. She arrived close to the end of the party, "despite an accident on Sunset blocking traffic," explained a post-event press release.

Davis and Chastain will hit the silver screen together again later this year in The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: His and Hers. Davis said their second film together felt as natural as the first. "The thing about all The Help women, it's something unexplainable that happened. We just clicked."

One of the goals of the Women in Film event, said Cathy Schulman, president of both WIF and Mandalay Pictures, was to encourage women to not only celebrate together, but to hire each other, too. According to a study commissioned the organization, in the last 11 years only 41 of 1,100 films have been directed by women. (The study looks at the top 100 films of each year). "It's actually a horrendously terrible statistic," said Schulman, adding that achievements like Kathryn Bigelow's should be the norm, rather than the exception. "That said, we are working as an organization to create a difference in those odds. It's what events like tonight are about."

Inside the party, sponsored by Perrier-Jouët, M.A.C. Cosmetics and MaxMara, guests including David O. Russell, Quvenzhane Wallis, Daniel Radcliffe, Jared Harris, Jenna Elfman, Paz Vega and Kate Walsh mingled, enjoying charcuterie and a selection of cheese and Champagne.

The best advice this crop ever received from their female peers?

"Cicely Tyson told me something really, really important," said Davis. "She told me to embrace my success, because she said 'I know the road. You have to embrace what's been given to you because you worked for it, so therefore you deserve it.' That's a big one for women, to feel like you deserve it," she added.

Spencer's key advice came from Whoopi Goldberg. "The very first movie I ever got to work on I was an intern, and Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey were my idols," she shared. "And I got to work with Whoopi and I remember her saying, 'Whatever happens, you have to remain true to yourself.' And I get that now. I know it's cliché, but when it means something you'll know it, and it really does."

Elfman found her footing "after I had children, actually," said the star of 1600 Penn. "Much later in my career. Because you just gain so much more confidence. Because you're responsible for a lot more than yourself, which gives you courage. And it just gives you perspective, too."

With the Oscars just a day away, the question remained: had the attendees picked their gowns yet?

"We're down to two. It depends on which one I don't look so lumpy in," Spencer laughed.

Weaver said that while she chose an Australian designer for her first trip to the Oscars two years ago for Animal Kingdom, this year she couldn't make the trip back home for her Silver Linings Playbook gown. "Because I've been here making a movie I didn't have time to go back to Australia to have an Australia designer," she said. "So it's going to be someone from where I was able to get all the fittings done here. Just a logistical thing, really."

AnnE Is About To Become The Queen Of Musicals

Anne Hathaway may be being lined up to play the lead in a new musical movie, after her huge success with 'Les Miserables,' it's been revealed.

According to the Daily Mail, Anne, who is currently favourite to win the 2013 Oscar for 'Best Supporting Actress' for her role in 'Les Mis' is again going to be involved in a musical film.

Hathaway, who played Fantine in Tom Hooper's musical drama, will play an archeologist who returns home from Morocco because her brother has been wounded. Her character will then fall in love with her brother's favorite musician.

The 'Princess Diaries' star will be on familiar ground in this movie, called 'Song One' as it's produced by her husband, Adam Shulman. She will be acting alongside young British musician Johnny Flynn if she does land the role. The screenplay was written by Kate Barker-Froyland, who will also direct the movie.

The Daily Mail also state that Anne may also be being lined up to take the lead part in the 'My Fair Lady' stage show and possibly even on the big screen alongside movie favourite Colin Firth.

And it seems like things just go onwards and upwards for Hathaway, with it being revealed that 'Les Miserables', which is up for an impressive eight Oscars this weekend, is headed back to Broadway for its third run.

Producer Cameron Mackintosh confirmed that the production will be moving on to the famous New York theatre district to the Chicago Tribune, although it will be slightly longer than one day more until it gets there, reaching NYC in March 2014.

Having played over 7,000 times on Broadway, at one point making it the second longest running play in history, we reckon that there won't be many empty chairs nor tables upon its return.

All the stars of the movie will head to the Academy Awards on Sunday, where Anne Hathaway is a shoo-in for Best Supporting Actress due to her role as Fantine, while Hugh Jackman will have a final battle with Daniel Day-Lewis for the Best Actor statue.

Jack White named Record Store Day 2013 Ambassador in funny video

$

Just when you thought it was safe to stop worrying about how much shopping you did during holiday season, the annual promotion for good old fashioned brick and mortar music shops, Record Store Day [(April 20th] , is back to remind you that buying your records and CDs with money from a public business is not only still possible, but that it's enjoyable, noble, romantic and just plain good for everyone.
And lest you forget, here's a funny video starring Jack White, who has been named the 2013 Record Store Day Ambassador, to prime the pumps. In addition to the clip, the official Record Store Day website offers this quote from White—who obviously takes the matter rather seriously—to bring the point home:

Years ago someone told me that 1,200 high school kids were given a survey. A question was posed to them: Have you ever been to a stand-alone record shop? The number of kids that answered "yes" was... zero.

Zero? How could that be possible? Then I got realistic and thought to myself, "Can you blame them?" How can record shops (or any shop for that matter) compete with Netflix, TiVo, video games that take months to complete, cable, texting, the Internet, etc. etc? Getting out of your chair at home to experience something in the real world has started to become a rare occurrence, and to a lot of people, an unnecessary one. Why go to a bookstore and get a real book? You can just download it. Why talk to other human beings, discuss different authors, writing styles and influences?  Just click your mouse.  Well here's what they'll someday learn if they have a soul; there's no romance in a mouse click.  There's no beauty in sitting for hours playing video games (anyone proud of that stop reading now and post your opinion in the nearest forum).  The screen of an iPhone is convenient, but it’s no comparison to a 70mm showing of a film in a gorgeous theater. The Internet is two-dimensional…helpful and entertaining, but no replacement for face-to-face interaction with a human being.  But we all know all of that, right?  Well, do we?  Maybe we know all that, but so what?

Let's wake each other up.

The world hasn't stopped moving. Out there, people are still talking to each other face-to-face, exchanging ideas and turning each other on. Art houses are showing films, people are drinking coffee and telling tall tales, women and men are confusing each other and record stores are selling discs full of soul that you haven’t felt yet.  So why do we choose to hide in our caves and settle for replication?  We know better.  We should at least. We need to re-educate ourselves about human interaction and the difference between downloading a track on a computer and talking to other people in person and getting turned onto music that you can hold in your hands and share with others.  The size, shape, smell, texture and sound of a vinyl record; how do you explain to that teenager who doesn't know that it's a more beautiful musical experience than a mouse click?  You get up off your ass, you grab them by the arm and you take them there.  You put the record in their hands.  You make them drop the needle on the platter.  Then they'll know.

Let's wake each other up.

As Record Store Day Ambassador of 2013 I’m proud to help in any way I can to invigorate whoever will listen with the idea that there is beauty and romance in the act of visiting a record shop and getting turned on to something new that could change the way they look at the world, other people, art, and ultimately, themselves.

Let's wake each other up.

Kanye West Says He Isn't A Fan Of "Suit & Tie"

Kanye West voices his opinion on "Suit & Tie" during latest rant.

Mr. West let another rant spill in London. This time around the rant was about the usual suspect, the Grammy's. Ye' was quoted by concert goers as saying,"The Grammy's can suck my d***." Even going as far as to say, "I’ve never won a Grammy against a white person." Kanye also says that he was promised an opener slot for The Grammy's 4 years ago, which was later given to Lady Gaga.

Kanye West is one to worry about opinions, however, he did take a jab at President Barack Obama. “I don’t give a **** what the president got to say,” stated one half of The Throne. Speaking of The Throne, Kanye West also noted he isn't a fan of Jay-Z's latest collaboration, “I got love for Hov, but I aint ****ing with that suit & tie.”

Kate Upton: Hated on By Other Models?

$

She's definitely the "It Girl" of modeling at the moment ... but is Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton also America's most hated model among fellow models?
kate upton

Upton, whose racy Antarctic photo shoot landed her the much-coveted cover of SI's swimsuit issue for the second year in a row, is finding fame a little ... icy.

According to Us Weekly, the 20-year-old blonde bombshell's fellow pinups are not the biggest fans of the mag's Kate Upton photos - or the model herself.

"The SI models hate her," an insider tells the celebrity news magazine of the voluptuous cover girl. "They are jealous, but Kate's also been a bitch to them."

In fact, relations are so chilly between Upton and the other models that they won't socialize with one another even when they're sitting just a few feet apart.

At a 1Oak party in Las Vegas on February 14, right after the cover's release, Upton kept to herself as the rest of the ladies chatted among themselves.

"She didn't interact with anyone," an onlooker says. "She wasn't friendly."

Is this fact or gossip? It's hard to say, but for what it's worth, SI stunner (and former cover girl) Brooklyn Decker was very congratulatory toward Kate.

Haters will be haters, but she likely has more than a few fans as well - and we're not talking purely about straight guys who drool over her pics.

Speaking of which, we've got a bunch, so browse away fellas

Hulk Hogan Responds To Recent CM Punk Promo

Fighting Spirit Magazine has a six-page interview with Hulk Hogan in their latest issue. During the interview, Hogan had some choice words for CM Punk and his recent promo about stars of yesteryear having it easier than him.

"CM Punk never had to walk into a dressing room where he wasn't supposed to be. He never walked into Kansas City, where Harley Race was the champion for 20 years, where Harley had told all of his friends and neighbors that he was the only heavyweight champion, because he was the NWA champion," Hogan said. "CM Punk never walked into Kemper Arena and had Harley Race put a gun to his head and say, 'Get out of my town, kid'.

"So, does CM Punk have it easier than me? When I was flying 300 days a year, doing double-shots, and there was no Rock and no 'Stone Cold' around, but just me for the first 15 years? During the day, I was flying from New York and stopping in St. Louis, taking a TV station manager out to lunch, and then in the afternoon getting to the building early in another town, like Chicago, and cutting a TV deal before wrestling that night. So, no, I don't think I had it easier than him."

The six-page interview with Hulk Hogan is in Issue 90 of FSM, available now from WH Smiths and Easons in the UK and Ireland, and for iPhone/iPad and Android via FightingSpiritMagazine.co.uk.

WWE vs. Glenn Beck: Jack Swagger and Zeb Coulter take 'stupid political commentator' to the mat

Conservative media personality Glenn Beck looks to be in a sticky situation with an army of wrestlers on his back. After Beck ranted on air about a World Wrestling Entertainment character, "Zeb Colter" and his pal "Jack Swagger," the WWE crew is fighting back.

Beck, who seems to be unaware Colter and Swagger are characters portrayed by actors  -- Wayne Keown and Jake Hager, respectively -- called Colter ""a villain who just happens to be a racist Tea Partier." Now Keown and Hager posted a video to YouTube to call Beck out on the mat.

In the video, the guys reenact a promo, then drop the green screen projection and affected voices to explain to Beck how TV fiction works. "We aren't in the political business, or the immigration business. We are in the entertainment business.

Everything we do as our characters is to tell stories," says Keown. He continues to politely explain, "Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger are using the current, relevant topic of immigration to target the WWE World Champion, Alberto Del Rio -- also a character played by my friend Jose Rodriguez," Keown says, "In our story, we are the antagonists and Alberto is the protagonist."

Keown then takes issue with Beck's claim the two are "stupid wrestling people." He says, "By implication, you are referring to the 14 million 'stupid' wrestling fans who are watching our shows every week." Keown goes on to point out that WWE fans represent a global audience encompassing 145 countries.

Next, he delivers a leg sweep to Beck by pointing out the demographics of said audience: 20% Hispanic, 22% African-American, and 35% female. He proceeds to explain to Beck how the business of television works, and details the massive popularity of the 20-years-running "Monday Night Raw" program.

"We have about 60 characters on our show," says Keown. "A lot more than, say, 'NCIS' or 'Glee.' But we're not that much different. Some of our characters are really likable and some are detestable -- good guys and bad guys."

Then comes the takedown. "Many of your followers are WWE fans, and they understand the difference between reality and entertainment," says Keown. "Are you out of touch with your audience, Glenn? Or are you just a 'stupid' political commentator?" Keown finally invites Beck to deliver a five-minute live rebuttal Monday night in front of a sold-out audience of 12,000 "'stupid' wrestling fans." Does anyone think Glenn will get in the ring with these two?

Speculation On WWE's RAW Response To Glenn Beck, Tim White Working For WWE Again, Swagger

Former WWE referee Tim White is apparently working some kind of ambassador job with WWE now. He was one of many who accompanied Sheamus to an autograph signing in Kentucky this weekend. White told several fans that he loved helping WWE out and did not miss the job of being a referee. White was released from WWE back in 2009.

- Jack Swagger was the most searched topic on Yahoo for a brief time last night.

- One WWE source noted to The Wrestling Observer that they wouldn't be surprised if the whole Glenn Beck situation is what is saving Jack Swagger and his WrestleMania storyline following Tuesday night's arrest. WWE will likely go hard on the angle this Monday night. The source speculated that we may get a 2013 version of Vince McMahon challenging Eric Bischoff to a fight on RAW.

Backstage Talk On Steve Austin Wrestling Again, Update On Jack Swagger's Situation, Kaitlyn

WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn revealed on Twitter that she will be at tonight's NXT TV tapings from Full Sail University. As noted earlier, Randy Orton will also be there. Kaitlyn tweeted:

"#NXT tonight @FullSail Orlando! Ill be there Champ'n it up. Who wants a piece of this??? (NXT divas only)"

- No confirmed word yet on what kind of actions, if any, WWE will take against Jack Swagger after his arrest on Tuesday night. The only thing we've heard is that they were considering "booking changes" which can't be good for Swagger.

- People close to Steve Austin believe that he will never wrestle again. If Austin is going to try for one more match, it will likely be at WrestleMania XXX in 2014 when he is 49 years old.
