Can't wait! Mods, we need a "Lost Girl" tag. It's in its 3rd season.
"M.I.A. VS THE SYSTEM"
M.I.A. has taken to Twitter to inform her followers that, this year, she will be "KEEPING A STEAL LOG" on Tumblr to document the many ways she is being ripped off. Her first target: the Grammys.
"MIA VS THE SYSTEM"she writes, with an image comparing her lazer-box stage backdrop from a January show in Australia to the one Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Sting, and Damian and Ziggy Marley played in front of during the Bob Marley tribute at this year's award show.
"My ideas came from my life," she writes. "My set was based on Tamil Hindu temple. Not Bob Marley." She added, "If u wanna see the real thing or get it first, come to a M.I.A. show!"
Watch the Bob Marley tribute, plus footage from M.I.A.'s show, and see for yourself:
lol gurl I love you but lets not. Yes, they look similar. Just give me a new album!
"We were competitive when we were younger," admits Rachael MacFarlane, 36 to her brother's 39 and a voice actress on his Family Guy and American Dad. "But when he became the youngest executive producer in television history at 25 and a self-made millionaire, I said, 'This is going to be difficult if you try to keep up with him.'" The married mother of one -- who followed her brother to Los Angeles after graduating from The Boston Conservatory -- embraced Seth's success, which has included one of the richest TV deals; a $535 million worldwide blockbuster in his directorial debut, Ted; and, on Feb. 24, his gig hosting the Academy Awards. Rachael offers her take on why Seth is the right man for Oscar.
He really loves this stuff. When we were kids and we'd be driving in the car, he'd want to listen to movie scores -- not soundtracks, scores. I wanted Tiffany or Debbie Gibson, and he wanted the soundtrack to Back to the Future. He had this appreciation for everything it took to put a film together, even at an early age.
He has been preparing for this his whole life. We grew up in a small town in Connecticut, where there was a phenomenal community theater. We were doing Gilbert and Sullivan musicals and learning complex harmonies when we were 5 years old. My father has videos of us making paper-bag puppets and subjecting our parents to awful hourlong shows where we'd do the voices. His puppets were incredible.
He's a born performer. I remember having a dance party in the backyard when I was 11 or 12, and Seth wanted to DJ. He was great. And then, all of a sudden, the music stops and he's imitating Ronald Reagan doing an interview with Michael Dukakis. He's bouncing between the two voices, and my friends are like, "What is this?" But that was Seth's deal. And everyone just sort of accepted him. He was not a typical child at all; there was something special about him. We all expected great things from him. People in our town saved his artwork. You don't do that; you don't save a 4-year-old's artwork. But people just knew.
He has a big heart to connect with audiences. He's the most generous human being I've ever met. He drew a picture of Rainbow Brite when he was 7 to submit to the local TV station so he could win me a Rainbow Brite doll. And he would get his paycheck from doing cartoons in the local paper and spend half of it to buy me a Barbie Corvette.
He's ready for this. I've asked him, "Are you nervous?" And he seems to say he's not. I've said it before, but I really think he's going to strike a chord with older audiences and younger audiences. He's this brilliant marriage of that Old Hollywood charm with the cutting-edge brand of humor he brings to his work. My husband and I are going with my dad and my dad's wife. We're over the moon.
Mehcad Brooks sat down with HuffPost Live's Marc Lamont Hill on Thursday. It's a good interview. The star of USA's Necessary Roughness is spot-on with his critique of "diversity" and casting decisions in Hollywood. "I want today's kids to say, 'Oh, I can be a superhero!'" says Brooks. "Superman is from Krypton but he has to look like Mitt Romney's son."
Necessary Roughness follows the players of a fictional football team. Brooks stars as the flamboyant wide receiver Terrence "TK" King—fighting an addiction to pain killers and having trouble coping with his quarterback's decision to come out as gay.
Brooks shares his thoughts on homophobia in professional sports in an interview with Andrew Davis at the Windy City Times. Brooks believes that an openly gay player in the big four—football, baseball, basketball and hockey—is "going to happen" soon.
As this country evolves, we become more liberal. ... We're going to see a few things we haven't seen before. We have a Black president who was re-elected to a second term. So I think a watershed moment in sports is going to happen—if not this year, then next. I happen to know quite a few NFL players, and they are pretty open in the locker room about the guys who are gay. They're out to their teammates, but not publicly.
I think that stigma is going away. Let me put it this way, man: It 10 times worse to be homophobic than gay, it's 10 times worse to be racist than a minority, it's 10 times worse to be sexist than it is to be a woman. Eventually, those of us who are living our truth have to be brave and speak up, and the people who would try to diminish that need to be ostracized. It's not OK to be homophobic, racist or sexist. We're past that. You want to live like that? Go somewhere else.
The quarterback's decision to come out of the closet becomes the second season's two-episode finale. After Elton's Jim Halterman interviews Travis Smith, the actor who plays the gay footballer, as well as series creators Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro.
A footnote to the discussion: You may recall that I interviewed former NFL player Wade Davis and former basketball players DeMarco Majors and Will Sheridan on "Coming Out in the Locker Room" for the new-ish anthology For Colored Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Still Not Enough. On January 30, the anthology won the American Library Association's Stonewall Book Award-Israel Fishman Non-Fiction Award.

Will Jessica Name Her Son Ace?
It seems expecting singer Jessica Simpson, 32, has shared the name that she and her fiancé Eric Johnson, 33, have decided upon for their second child. “She's told people she’s going to name the baby Ace!” the source reveals to Us Weekly. The Fashions Star mentor – who already mom to 10-month-old daughter Maxwell – hasn't divulged how they came up with the name.
Just last year, Jessica revealed that Maxwell’s unique name came about as a tribute to both her and Eric’s families. Maxwell is Eric’s middle name as well as his grandmother’s surname and Drew is Jessica’s mother Tina’s maiden name. “It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary,” the mother-to-be told Elle last year prior to Maxwell’s birth and name reveal. “Still, when people hear it they’ll know why.”
Expectant mama Jessica Simpson rocked her growing baby bump on Valentine’s Day (February 14) at The Ivy in Santa Monica, Calif. Enjoying a romantic lunch with fiancé Eric Johnson, the pregnant singer-turned-entrepreneur wore a fitted black outfit paired with a pale pink blazer on their afternoon outing.
Rumored to be having a boy, the expectant parents left their 9-month-old daughter Maxwell at home with the nanny.
In preparation for their expanding family, the Simpson-Johnsons have reportedly purchased the Osbourne family’s $13 million mansion in Hidden Hills and will be renovating for their baby on-the-way.
And perhaps wedding bells for the couple as well?
“We’ve had two different wedding dates, but he keeps knocking me up,” Jess recently joked of her fiancé. “We’re doing it very backwards!”
Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson are about to buy Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s former mansion and the place is a PALACE! We have all the details and photos on this swanky pad.
The house is situated in the suburban community of Hidden Hills, which is near the Kardashian stomping grounds of Calabasas.
With a second kid on the way, Jessica apparently needs something larger than their current place, which is probably also a mansion, but they need a bigger mansion. I mean, they can’t expect their kids to grow up in a home with only 4 bathrooms!
This new place has 6 bedrooms, 10 baths, a grand staircase (think Titanic), a swimming pool, and full outdoor dining capabilities.
Ashley Simpson, who broke up with Boardwalk Empire star Vincent Piazza in late 2012 and has been coping her parents divorce and the allegations that her father, Joe, embarked on gay flings, displayed some “out of control” behavior at a Hollywood hotspot recently.
“She was downing drinks like there was no tomorrow,” an eyewitness, who claims they spotted the star throwing back cocktails at Pink Taco. “She asked for a straight shot and added it to her already mixed cocktail.”
Ashlee hit New York Fashion Week earlier this month looking drastically different — so much so that fellow fashionistas had trouble recognizing her!
Week two of “My Strange Addiction” arouses our inner curiosity with addictions so bizarre it stings. Meet Margaret, a 53-year-old Kentucky woman who has developed an addiction to stinging herself with bees. The Morningview native began stinging herself nearly 10-years-ago as a way to combat arthritis pain. “The first time that I stung myself it didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would, and it just got easier over time,” explained Margaret. Now, stinging herself on the hips, elbows, fingers and other random places, Margaret has managed to sting herself as much as 15 times per day. “She’s always had a taste for the odd side of things,” explains Margaret’s husband, JD. “At this point now with fifteen stings per day, that’s when I start to get really concerned about it.” Season 4 of “My Strange Addiction” airs Wednesday’s at 10 p.m. on TLC.

She's not among the A-list stars invited to the Academy Awards this Sunday, but that hasn't stopped D-lister Courtney Stodden from getting into the Oscars spirit.
The 18-year-old reality star went all out with a bubble-gum pink dress at an pre-Oscars gifting suite on Wednesday in Beverly Hills.
She resembled a cake topper in the long lace gown which was secured at the waist with a bow.
She wore a fuzzy silver bracelet that resembled tinsel and accessorised with a sparkly pink handbag in the shape of lips.
The aspiring singer showed off the over-the-top garb while posing prior to the event at the L'Ermitage Hotel.
She later showcased two other outfits - all equally as garish.
At one point the blonde was seen in a see-through lacy pink top that reveals her slender waist and sizable bust.
She paired it with high-waisted canary yellow skinny trousers and sky-high plastic platform heels.
The teen bride, who is married to Doug Hutchinson, accessorised with a guitar-shaped Timmy Woods handbag.
Finally, Courtney donned a miniscule rose gold Shekhar Rhate dress that sport an extra swath of material at the back, giving the illusion of a short front and a long train at the back.
Continuing the lip theme, the television personality accessorised with a sparkling red lip bag, which she held up while pouting her own shiny pink lips.
Courtney wore her trademark platinum blonde hair extensions in a messy half updo, her loose curls falling over her shoulders.
Her makeup was typically heavy-handed, with huge fake black eyelashes and thick black eyeliner, paired with neon pink lipstick.
She posed seductively for the cameras, showing off her bright red fingernails.
Once inside the suite, Courtney enjoyed a piece of cake that was decorated with photographs of this year's Academy Award acting nominees.
She was snapped leaving the event looking satisfied as she carried two large bags no doubt filled with gifts from the event.
Other celebrities in attendance included Young And The Restless star Max Ehrich and the voice of Roger Rabbit Charles Fleischer.
LOL this cake
At this point, there's no way all the Cesare/Lucrezia scenes are just ~dreams, so April 14th really needs to get here already!

ABC's gothic monster soap has cast two of its leads.
Kings alum Chris Egan has landed the role of Dorian Gray, while EastEnders' Tom Ellis has been tapped to portray Victor Frankenstein in the high-concept drama Gothica, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The pilot is described as a sexy gothic soap set in the present day that weaves together a mythology that incorporates the legends of Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde, Frankenstein and Dorian Gray, among others.
Egan's Dorian Gray -- the character who first rose to fame in Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray -- is described as a beautifully charming and devastatingly sexy man with a smile like a switchblade. He's an enigmatic playboy who develops a relationship with Grace Van Helsing and attempts to help her figure out who killed her family.
Ellis -- whose name recently circulated as a new addition to Downton Abbey -- will portray Victor Frankenstein, a good-looking guy with intense eyes and a brilliant doctor who's trying to find a way to bring his late daughter, Anna, back to life. Now married to Madeline Usher, he used to have a relationship with Grace and is still in love with her.
Egan, repped by WME, Trokia, Anonymous Content and Jackoway Tyerman, also had roles in the ABC's failed pilot Beauty and the Beast as well as features Letters to Juliet and Crush. Welsh actor Ellis, repped by Hamilton Hodell and Anonymous Content, starred on EastEnders, Pulling, Merlin and Gates.
They join the previously cast Raza Jaffrey (Smash) in the pilot.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice's Matt Lopez will pen the pilot for ABC Studios and executive produce alongside the Mark Gordon Co.'s Mark Gordon. Anand Tucker will direct the pilot, which is slated to film in Montreal.
The rumors about him joining Downton were wrong, so who will Lady Mary's new beau be?
Making a rare public appearance, Johnny Depp headed into New York City’s Ed Sullivan Theatre on Thursday afternoon (February 21).
The 49-year-old actor kept a low profile as he waved to his awaiting fan base before heading inside for his interview on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”
Johnny's previous appearance on Letterman was a fan-favorite where he gave a spot on impersonation of Al Pacino.
But the Tourist star is not just an actor, he is also a well-regarded guitar player, often jamming with big acts like Eddie Vedder.
This time on Letterman, Johnny will be providing a live musical performance with Bill Carter and The Blame.
Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan will officially be starring opposite each other in the film adaptation of the beloved musical, The Last 5 Years!
The 28-year-old Tony-nominated actor, who is currently starring on Smash, will play “Jamie, a rising novelist whose relationship with struggling actress Cathy (Kendrick) is explored through an unusual narrative device: His story unfolds in chronological order as the pair first meet, while hers unfolds in reverse starting at the end of their marriage,” according to Deadline.
“Its official!! I will be playing Jamie in The Last five Years film!! @AnnaKendrick47 Literally a dream come true :)” Jeremy tweeted to confirm the news.
In case you want to see a live production of the musical, head on over to the Second Stage Theatre in New York City, where the first Off-Broadway production in many years will begin on March 7.
I am so excited for this. I love this musical and can't wait to see it on screen!
The film, based on the novel by Laura Kasischke, sees Woodley as Kat, a 17 year old girl whose life is upended after the disappearance of her mother (Eva Green, also featured in the first photos). Christopher Meloni plays the detective on the case and Shiloh Fernandez plays Woodley’s love interest. The film has no distributor or release date yet, but has been pegged as a possibility to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
Production company Wild Bunch also released the official synopsis, which you can see below along with all three images.
Kat Connors is 17 years old when her perfect homemaker mother, Eve, a beautiful, enigmatic, and haunted woman, disappears – just as Kat is discovering and relishing her newfound sexuality. Having lived for so long in a stifled, emotionally repressed household, she barely registers her mother’s absence and certainly doesn’t blame her doormat of a father, Brock, for the loss. In fact, it’s almost a relief. But as time passes, Kat begins to come to grips with how deeply Eve’s disappearance has affected her. Returning home on a break from college, she finds herself confronted with the truth about her mother’s departure, and her own denial about the events surrounding it…
Also in the movie.... Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe and Mark Indelicato. Oh and can we get a Shailene Woodley tag?
