There has been some drama lately surrounding "Criminal Minds," one of only a few shows at CBS not to have been either renewed or canceled for the upcoming television season.

Last week, showrunner and EP Erica Messer inked a new deal with CBS that leaves her at the helm of the ship for a potential Season 9 and now Deadline reports that all the stars have received final offers from the network.

Reportedly, Thomas Gibson and Joe Mantegna are close to re-upping with the popular crime drama, while Shemar Moore is still ensconced in negotiations.

Furthermore, Kirsten Vangsness and A.J. Cook have reportedly turned down their final offers from the network -- they are unhappy with the female stars being paid so much less than the male ones and are willing to walk if there isn't something done to correct that.

There was a dust-up regarding the female cast members back in 2010, when A.J. Cook was reduced to a guest star and Paget Brewster was cut altogether. Fan outcry prompted Cook's reinstatement on the show.

A ninth season for the show is fairly likely to happen as long as Gibson and Mantegna sign on.
