Ever the LGBT ally, the gay icon gave Out Magazine an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at his new track, "Believe."

PC Music's GFOTY refers to Malian musicians as a "tribal band" and “Bombay Bicycle Club blacked up”

GFOTY, an artist signed to indie buzz label PC Music, has come under fire for racist comments that appeared in a recent interview. The source of the interview has censored the original image of her iMessages, but theQuietus was able to get a screengrab of the original.




In her iMessage, GFOTY refers to Malian kora players Toumani & Sidiki Diabaté as “Bombay Bicycle Club blacked up.” She has since responded, saying that she was trying to make a joke about appropriation but her joke fell flat.

-Starting today, Starbucks is offering 6 new Frappuccino flavors in celebration of the drink's 20th anniversary
-From June 19-30, customers will vote for their favorite flavor. The winning flavor will be on sale from July 3-6 for $3 for a grande
-The new Cotton Candy and Lemon Bar flavors will be coffee-free

Caramel Cocoa Cluster
Toffee syrup, Frappuccino Roast Coffee, milk, ice, topped with dark caramel sauce, whipped cream, and mocha sauce



Cinnamon Roll

For the shoot, we got Miley together with creative director Diane Martel (who directed Cyrus'"We Can't Stop" video) and photographer Paola Kudacki. In addition to her shoot co-star, pet pig Bubba Sue, there was a glass pyramid, some body paint and very little clothing.

This article basically confirms she is dead, everything sucks.
Liam had some nice things to say about everything though.

"It did hurt. I love working with Kerry. So it’s an awful loss, both professionally and personally."

When Liam first found out about the scene:

Oh, God. It was probably this time last year, when they sent me the scripts, and I read them through and saw that this delightful young lady was going to be burned. I was astonished — well, listen, nothing astonishes me on this show, to be honest with you. But it hit very close to home.

On Kerry Ingrams last day, Liam was asked if he did anything special for Kerry, after she filmed her last scene.

"It was really sweet on the last day that we worked together. I had bought an Irish silver stag that I had made up for Kerry as a parting gift. When I handed it over she had bought this beautiful throw pillow with a stag on it, like the Baratheon sigil. We swapped stags. It was very touching in our little pop-up tent at the end of the day, when we were handing them over." (BRB CRYING MY EYES OUT)

When asked why Davos didn’t use his knowledge of smuggling to sneak the princess out of the camp, he had this to say:

"His loyalty and decency gets him in trouble again. He wanted to take the queen and the princess away because a battle was about to ensue. So he is quite confused about it. Stannis is getting him out of the way because he knows he’s about to do the wrong thing. He doesn’t want to be looking in Davos’s eyes when he tries to do it, because he won’t be able to go through with it. I do not find out what actually happens to Shireen until the final episode."

Then on the controversy received over the Sansa scene:
"The controversy with Sansa — so many people were heartbroken. It shouldn’t have been the reward for someone who was growing in stature and growing as a woman. But it’s “Game of Thrones” and it’s challenging. The best kind of television should mess with your head."

Drake Says Apple Music Is Great for Musicians

-Eddy Cue, the Apple executive in charge of media, has just explained the music app. “When you think of Apple Music, it’s My Music, For You and New.” This means it’s split into several sections — which sounds as if they are a subset of several different music-buying services.

-The rapper Drake is up on stage to explain how the Internet has helped him connect with an audience. Now, he says, that will be easier with Apple Music. “It has been perfected and simplified by the great people at Apple,” Drake says.

-Mr. Cook rolled out Steve Jobs’s signature keynote line, “One more thing …,” to start his discussion of Apple’s new music-streaming service. It’s called … Apple Music. And Jimmy Iovine, the co-founder of Beats Music, which Apple purchased last year, is on stage to present it.




-Mr. Iovine says that in 2015, the music industry is “a fragmented mess,” with too many different apps for different kinds of musical experiences. Apple, he says, is here to change that.

*Music Licensing is out of step and hurts song writers and composers
*Laws governing songwriters haven't been updated since 2001, before mp3 players / iPods existed
*ASCAP can't refuse when someone asks to license the music they have, forcing them to take bad deals
*1 million streams on pandora leads to $90 in royalties
*You may remember in 2009 there was a writer's strike in the TV/Film industry because of digital rights.

I am posting this before finishing it, but Paul Williams is saying the music industry is broken.

Many artists have deals with their labels where they have agreed to make no money off of streaming at all.
