Marisa Tomei to Play Gloria Steinem in ‘Ms.’ HBO Miniseries
- Marisa Tomei will star as Gloria Steinem in "Ms.," a miniseries that's in development at HBO.
- Kathy Najimy will co-star as Bella Abzug.
- Steinem is consulting on the project, which is being executive produced by Bruce Cohen of "Silver Linings Playbook," and co-produced with George Clooney, Grant Heslov, Tomei and Najimy.
- The miniseries will focus on the creation of Ms. in 1971 through the perspective of the two women who founded and ran it during the Women's Movement.
I'm watch, I'll take anything women's history related. but Clooney seems so random.

Despite reports spread by Kardashians, Kim not invited to Vanity Fair Oscar Party
According to Page Six Kim Kardashian was persona non grata at the exclusive Vanity Fair Oscar after party this year once again failing to receive an invite. Despite several reports fed into outlets like the Daily Mail this past week ( Kim Finally Bags Vanity Fair Invite ), a Kardashian favorite, suggesting she'd be at the affair she was a no show claiming she couldn't find a babysitter for her
This isn't the first time Kim Kardashian has failed to receive an invite to the exclusive event. Last year editor-in-chief Graydon Carter went on record telling the Times, “If you walk in and the first person you see is Kim Kardashian, that sort of brands the evening for you.”

Will somebody get accidentally stoned this time? Contact high? In other news, note that after tonight’s episode there will be another small break (1 week off, with the next ep airing on March 10th). It’s been great and nostalgic seeing Reese and Finch as a duo again, with Fusco and Root as back-up, but there’s so much more happening right now, especially since Root is working with the Machine again. So I think that, after this stretch of fun mostly one-offs which re-established the Shaw-less Team Machine, we'll probably get back to business. We've seen the calm, now let's see the storm.

Mardi Gras Float Mocks 'Sons of Guns' Sexual Assault Victims
- Last year, Will Hayden from Discovery's Sons of Guns was arrested and charged with molestation of a juvenile and aggravated crimes against nature. Stephanie Ford, his oldest daughter who was also on the show, came forward to state that she had also been raped by him when she was 12. Others have gone to police, leading to more charges.
- On February 14, the Spanish Town Mardi Gras parade included a float that made fun of sexual assault allegations against Hayden along with mocking Stephanie and his other victims.
- Decorations on the float included a photo of Stephanie with the caption, "A face only a daddy could love."
- Other phrases on the float were "Krewe of Sleazania,""Red Jack It" and "Kiss Me Daddy."
- Each float is put together by different groups known as krewes. Three members of the Baton Rouge Police Department are accused of having been on and decorated the float.
- Baton Rouge Police Department has launched an internal investigation into officers Donald Young, John Byron Fontenot and Douglas Atkins.
- Stephanie Ford has issued the following statement:
I was assured by the Baton Rouge (police department) that my safety and rights would be protected. To have a member of law enforcement treat me, a victim, in this manner tells women and children across America that their worst fears will be realized if they come forward.
What prevents women and children from coming forward and reporting sexual crimes is the fear of being further victimized and shammed by law enforcement, the justice system, the community and of course their attacker. - Ford's daughter and sister both attended the parade and saw the float.
I'm from Baton Rouge and this is getting coverage here. I wanted to make sure the asshats who did this are known worldwide for their disgusting behaviour. Especially because people here are jumping to the defense of the people who created this float, saying that this girl is a public figure and should expect it. And, of course, throwing around "Free speech!" without having any understanding of the actual concept of the First Amendment.
