Drake had social media buzzing when he posted a picture of Madonna on his Instagram. She replied "Where too?". Then Drake posted another Madge picture captioned What if I pick you up from your house? We should get out. and Madonna replied "I'm good with that!" She also tagged him in one of her pictures.








A Sprite email leaked offering tickets to bloggers for a private concert in Irving Plaza in exchange for event coverage.





Raptors are 3% less likely to win when Drake is sitting courtside. Here he is watching them lose yesterday.

Blogger drags Katy's Superbowl performance; Katy's team gets defensive

Some guy wrote a stream-of-consciousness style review of Katy Perry's Superbowl performance. He said things like "Why was she even chosen" and "Missy Elliott was surprisingly good".

Sample: As for Katy Perry, who was she playing to? Her audience is little girls, the audience for the Super Bowl is oldsters.

Well, maybe everybody. But a great musical act knows that no one appeals to everybody, and that by knowing your audience you maintain your career. Katy Perry up close and personal in HD demonstrated that she coasted to fame on hits written by others and there’s nothing there other than someone hungry to make it.

That’s what’s wrong with America, hunger with no CV. Isn’t anybody willing to do the work? ... Katy believes it’s all about production. That’s how far we’ve come. Knowing how to sing, play and write are irrelevant.

He also called her "low-rent Disneyland".

This doesn't seem too above & beyond what ONTD-ers had to say, so what's so different about THIS nobody blogger? The difference is that Katy's Team Got Defensive In Response To It.

Ledisi Snubbed by 2015 Grammys Due to Beyonce Performance, Fans Say

It's two days away and the 2015 Grammy Awards already has some controversy surrounding performances. People are upset~ over the Grammy's producers decision to have Beyonce perform ‘Precious Lord, Take My Hand', a song which was originally sung by Ledisi in the Martin Luther King, Jr. biopic, ‘Selma.’

Most people thought it would make sense that Ledisi would perform her own~ song.
Even Common and John Legend are performing their song,'Glory', from the same movie.

Ledisi's fans expressed their disappointment via twitter. They feel that they replaced Ledisi with Beyonce for ratings and mainstream appeal!

On the other hand, Beyonce fans say that it isn't Beyonce's fault and she shouldn't be blamed for this.

Jack White is pissed a newspaper published his secret guacamole recipe

On Monday, February 2nd, Jack White played a show at the McCasland Field House on the campus of University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. During the performance, he publicly called out the university’s newspaper The Oklahoma Daily for its printing of his contract with the university as well as his tour rider. The paper defended the publishing of said documents, citing its right under the Freedom of Information Act, but White responded by telling the audience, “Just because you can type it on your computer doesn’t make it right.” In the days that followed, OU was informed that it was being blacklisted from any future Jack White performances as well as all other artists represented by William Morris Entertainment.

White’s main contention seems to be over the paper’s disclosure of the financial terms ($80,000 for the show). He also presumably didn’t want his guacamole recipe out in the public. That’s right: White’s rider contains an entire page listing the ingredients for guacamole he wants served backstage.

The rider also stipulates White’s no-banana policy (“We don’t want to see bananas anywhere in the building”), and his post-show meal of “New York strip steak, cooked medium, with steamed vegetables on the side and no sauce.”

According to The Oklahoma Daily, the university has been blacklisted by WME for mocking White “and they don’t want any other artists treated that way.” The ban will remain in effect “until this policy is modified not to disseminate private information.”

Last year Hideaki Anno announced the creation of a new animation event at the Tokyo International Film Festival called The World of Hideaki Anno, an event (a weekly series of anime shorts) that will be launched this Sunday at Animator Expo, and will offer new animators more exposure to a worldwide audience.

Today the 12th short was streamed, and it looks amazing!



The previous 11 shorts in the project include:

"Ōtarō Maijō and Kazuya Tsurumaki's "The Dragon Dentist"
Azuma Tani's "Hill Climb Girl"
A music video titled "ME!ME!ME!" featuring the musician Teddyloid (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) and rapper daoko
Akira Honma's "Carnage"
Yoshikazu Yasuhiko & Ichiro Itano's "Collection of Key Animation Films" from Mobile Suit Gundam
Takeshi Honda and Mahiro Maeda's "20min Walk From Nishi-Ogikubo Station, 2 Bedrooms, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, 2mos Deposit, No Pets Allowed"
Tadashi Hiramatsu and Khara's "until you come to me" (this one also include some scenes from NGE)
Akemi Hayashi's "Tomorrow from there"
Akira Amemiya's "Gridman: Boys Invent Great Hero"
Takashi Horiuchi and Masahiro Emoto's "Yamadeloid"
Yasuhiro Yoshiura, Studio Rikka, and Trigger's "Power Plant No.33"


Anno is executive producer of the project with Dwango President Nobuo Kawakami, and he also designed the image character mascot "(Tor)-kun."
Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki created the title logo, and fellow Ghibli co-founder Toshio Suzuki colored it.
The shorts mostly feature the voice talent of Ranma ½ and Cowboy Bebop co-stars Kouichi Yamadera and Megumi Hayashibara.

On her look:“I know that my look is more ‘toothpaste model’ as opposed to artsy, which sucks because I can play those roles.”

On her lifestyle:“I have a normal 24-year-old life. If I were a waitress, I’d probably have the exact same lifestyle. I’d go to the same clubs I go to already, live in the same house with the same housemates, hang out with the same people.”

On her love life:“I am officially off the market… I made a conscious decision not to date actors, but not because I hate actors. That’s a nasty generalization to make, and that’s not the case… People take such an interest in your love life when you have a profile, it puts a lot of stress on a relationship. So two people with profiles, I figure it’s just double the amount of scrutiny, and I’d like to avoid that at all costs.”

On her bad habits:“When I eat, I have to chop up everything on the plate and stir it all together. It devastates my mom. Everyone at the table is like, 'That looks like cat vomit.' And I stir my Coke with a spoon until it's flat.”

On attending an elite private school though money was scarce:“It was weird because a lot of my friends were very wealthy. It was interesting to see what you can have in life and know what it was like not to have it. It makes you very ambitious. It seemed horrible at the time, but I'm grateful I had it that way, because I knew what I wanted to achieve.”

On her attitude:“I'm so overly optimistic to a fault, but this job has made me start questioning people's motives…I have never been a cynical person. I'd rather trust nine people and have the 10th one stab me in the back. I'd take that fall in order to have those nine friendships or working relationships instead of having none. That's not living.”
