Stephen King's 'The Stand' to be done in FOUR movies
Josh Boone revealed in an interview with Kevin Smith that his adaptation of The Stand is set to be done with four movies. He was originally planning on making it one three hour movie until Warner Bros offered him to do four instead of one. He hopes shooting will start next Spring.

Perennial Asshole Jamie Oliver Admits to Tricking 12 y.o. Daughter into Eating Hot Pepper
The Daily Mail are reporting that Jamie Oliver went on a chat show and said he has to resort to creative punishments since it's "not very popular beating kids any more, it’s not very fashionable and you are not allowed to do it and if you are a celebrity chef like me it does not look very good in the paper." He shared this charming anecdote.
‘Poppy was quite disrespectful and rude to me and she pushed her luck. In my day I would have got a bit of a telling-off but you are not allowed to do that.
‘Five minutes later she thought I had forgotten and I hadn’t. She asked for an apple. I cut it up into several pieces and rubbed it with Scotch Bonnet and it worked a treat. She ran up to mum and said, “This is peppery”. I was in the corner laughing. [Jools] said to me, “Don’t you ever do that again”.’
The Daily Mail spoke w/ Victoria's who called him a "dickhead,""cruel," and that his ass would be fired if he worked for them. They also note that the scotch bonnet has a heat rating of 100,000-350,000 on Scoville scale, and it's 140 times hotter than the average pepper.

According to Hits Daily Double, there's lots of talk over the possibility of Apple starting a record label. Artists such as Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Coldplay, and Justin Timberlake are being eyed as they all near the end of their various contracts. Apple's goal? To makes lots of money and shut out Spotify and other streaming music services.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck on teaching their daughters about feminism
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck attended a charity gala on Wednesday night — Jennifer was hosting while Ben was honored for his work with the Eastern Congo Initiative — and they were both asked on the red carpet about their approach to teaching their daughters about feminism.
"It's not a thing that you teach your kid, it's just the way you live," said Jennifer. "And, you know, I think my kids would love in theory for me to not work, not go to anything, be home every day. And you can do that and be a feminist — I don't think that you need to go to work and be a power-woman to be a feminist. But I want my kids to know that if working is important to me, and if working for Save the Children is important to me, then that's totally valid, and as much as I totally love them, I'm a whole person too."
"I want my girls to love math. I want them to think that being a scientist is the coolest possible job on the planet. I want them to not be afraid to lean toward their femininity; to love carrying a baby doll around; to know how to bake. And to be able to kick a guy's ass—that's why they've been in karate since they were little!"
Added Ben, "Well, [they're] a little young for a sort of Gloria Steinem doctoral thesis, but without getting into exactly what it means politically to be a feminist, our daughters understand what my wife understands full well, which is it's important to be strong, present, and powerful, and accept nothing less than a man would — in fact, ask for more. And, you know, that's part of what I admire so much about my wife, and I know that through her example, my children will absorb that."
Last year, Jennifer said she brought their oldest daughter Violet to the event because she wanted Violet to hear a powerful woman such as then guest Hillary Clinton speak. To which Ben had this to say: "I am excited about Hillary Clinton, among other reasons, because having two little girls, I recognize — and I wouldn't have known this before, I really probably would have been more cavalier about it — having two little girls, I recognize how powerful it would be for them to see a woman be the president of the United States."

Ben Affleck: We're spending Thanksgiving with the Damons

The couple were also asked their family's Thanksgiving plans.
"My mother is staying with us now," said Ben, "and we'll all go down the street to Matt's house. We're all invited. Matt and my family are all like one big extended family for Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to it a lot. I know I'm not cooking! I'll bring some wine for sure — wine will be flowing — but I'll be focused on the turkey. I know I'll be eating a lot of turkey at Matt's house."
"This year we're going to Matt's house, but usually I cook and Casey and his family come over," Jennifer added, referencing her husband's younger actor brother, Casey Affleck. "This year Casey is going to be in Boston and we'll be home. I'll still cook some stuff," she told Us. "Ben and the kids want me to take my grandmother's sweet potato pudding so I'll make that."

One Million Moms vs Doc McStuffins?
So here's the skinny. Doc McStuffins is a kid's show on Disney Jr. about a little girl who practices medicine on her stuffed animals without a medical license. From what I hear it's as cute as a box full of kittens. So leave it to 16 moms and 1 stay at home dad to find something to complain about.
The issue? SWEARS! According to the former Claymates, the show aired a segment that included the cuss word "shitty". Yes. They actually believe that. Even though the character is starting to say "hideous" because it was an aliterative joke, and Snopes even took the time to explain, the group decided to kick up a stink anyway.

To be honest, this is a self-serving post... who else is watching? Is anyone enjoying this? I don't really like the show, but I keep tuning in each week. I think the writing is terrible and I don't really like any of the characters. I feel like this is draggggging out. Is the British version any better?
