Sometimes a movie’s ending seems like it’s set up for a sequel, other times a sequel that you didn’t know you wanted (or even needed) comes along years & years later.
This post was inspired by the multi-decade gap between Mary Poppins & Mary Poppins returns.

Was it worth making? Well, so far Mary Poppins returns has a
78% on Rotten Tomatoes so I’d say yes.

6.5 rating on IMDB roughly equivalent to 65% on Rotten Tomatoes, that would indicate yes. But as someone who watched it, I’d say no.

93% on Rotten Tomatoes the answer is apparently yes, although some old-school fans may disagree.
