Maroon 5's "Girls Like You," featuring Cardi B is currently on track to dethrone Drake's "In My Feelings", which has been at the top of the chart for 10 weeks.
Combined sales, streams and radio play are currently out edging "In My Feelings."
If "Girls" crowns the Hot 100, it would end the streak of rap songs ruling the Hot 100 for a record 34 consecutive weeks. The last non-rap song to top the charts was Carla's "Havana" earlier this year.

Beyoncé reunited with Original Destiny’s Child members LeToya and LaTavia backstage on tour
Last week, Beyoncé reunited with original Destiny’s Child members LeToya Luckett in Arlington, Texas after her On The Run II show. And it didn’t stop there, in Houston, Texas she reconnected with LaTavia Roberson.
Our hearts broke when LeToya and LaTavia were cut from the group when the two girls began having issues with Beyoncé’s father and manager, Matthew Knowles. They requested separate management and because of this they were replaced in early 2000 while filming the “Say My Name” music video.
New members Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin replaced them with Farrah leaving after only a few months with the group. We’re still not sure if she ever managed to get her luggage.
The girls then stayed a trio with Williams until their final studio album and 2004’sDestiny Fulfilled. It’s great to see that after all these years there’s no bad blood here. DC5 reunion in 2020?

The Academy is quietly considering streaming the Oscars

In 2016, the Academy signed a deal for ABC to broadcast the ceremony up until 2028, but after the major decline in ratings for this year's Emmy Awards, they are now considering that the future of the award show may be in online streaming.
In an interview earlier this month, Academy C.E.O. Dawn Hudson said “We understand the broadcast industry, and people cutting cords, and watching all kinds of content on different platforms, and we are addressing that. We have a lot of engagement with the Oscars on social media, but it’s still disheartening when fans don’t feel it necessary to tune in to the Oscars in the same way.”
The Academy and ABC are hoping the changes being introduced to ceremony next year, like the earlier date in February and the shorter length with below-the-line awards being announced during commercial breaks, will help with the ratings. However, perhaps their biggest ploy to bring in a bigger audience, the controversial Popular Oscar category, has since been axed.
The ratings for the Oscars have been depleting considerably every year since a spike in 2014, with the 2018 broadcast showing a 19% drop from 2017. In response to these concerns, one member of the board of governors for the Academy noted “TV is going nowhere. So why don’t we just get our money [from a streaming deal], not worry about ratings, and call it a day?”

Actress Clementine Ford discusses being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis

Through a series of Instagram posts, actress Clementine Ford (The Young and the Restless, The L Word) revealed this week that she has multiple sclerosis. On Friday, Ford shared that she was diagnosed with the condition ten years ago and said her first sign was that she had a prolonged sensation of pins and needles in her feet.
In an Instagram story shared on Wednesday she said that she wanted to be open about having the condition so that she could take advantage of online support groups and the like.

The Orville: The Complete First Season DVD details announced
The Orville is a live-action sci-fi dramedy. Thanks to FOX's first trailer for the Pilot episode, The Orville being a Star Trek parody has become a popular misconception. In truth, the show takes the charm of Stark Trek by dealing with current issues (trans and gender-based superiority issues, social media fueling manufactured outrage through the court of public opinion, etc.), but the tension of the episodes are often loosened by contemporary humor that isn't overdone in a Disney sort of way.
The home entertainment release of The Orville will hit stores on DVD on October 8th in the UK and December 11th in the US.

Killjoys showrunner Adam Barken sat with The TV Junkies to discuss 4X10. Highlights:
* They wanted everyone in Westerly to lose their memory and replace them with new ones because it takes away the one thing they always relied on- each other. They forget who they really are. It also suggests what the Lady's true power is- if you control memory, you can control reality. How do you fight someone who can make you forget here's even an enemy to fight?
* They wanted Zeph to try to process the loss of Pip and not gloss over it. One of the major themes of the episode was 'getting over trauma' and whether you really 'get over' something or if time lets you move further and further from the event, until it hurts less. Pree is the wisest and in many ways most experienced, so it made sense for him to express this idea to Zeph.
* About whether Aneela survived or not: The last thing we saw with Aneela was Khlyen, who has tried to protect and save her for 200 years. And we know that if Aneela were to die, Dutch would likely die too, being her original source.
* The Lady is out, but it has plusses and minuses. She can control everyone's memories and keep her enemies in a delusion that keeps them from fighting her. However the human body she's in is killable and she's not an all-powerful being.
* One of the joys of writing the final season was coming up with alternate lives that could be lived by the regulars, but even if they don't remember their lives, they'll still be them- Fancy will always be an asshole, Turin will still be a cantankerous grump. We are who we are, even if we don't remember what we are. Season 5 will involves, in no particular order: "Sausages, stinky raincoats, monsters, madness, brutal fights and fancy dinner parties, a horrible sacrifice and a trip through the woods, the return of a dangerous old enemy and the introduction of a tough new ally—and all the dick jokes and sex puns you’ve come to expect, nay, demand of us."

Comedy veteran Luenell is giving her take in this comedy beef, and she wants everyone to know their true enemy.
Kevin Hart went HARD on Katt Williams for shadingTiffany Haddish in an interview (to big up other Black women in comedy).
Luenell says that she, Kevin Hart, Katt Williams, Mike Epps and Tiffany Haddish all starred in a movie called “School Dance”, written and produced by Nick Cannon and Lionsgate PLAYED them all.
