  • She accepted before he even officially asked the question

  • First proposal in Emmys history

  • Weiss said that if he had lost he would have proposed to her at In-n-Out burger which is where he and Jan Svendsen go after awards ceremonies

The filmmakers who made OP's favorite UFO cult film, The Endless, have just announced that their next project is a sci-fi thriller named Synchronic...

and it's starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan!








According to the source:
The pair will play two New Orleans paramedics, whose lives are ripped apart after encountering a series of horrific deaths linked to a designer drug with bizarre, otherworldly effects.


Statement from the filmmakers, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead:“Being huge fans of the nuanced, brilliant work of Anthony and Jamie, this is a filmmaker’s wildest dream come true. They each possess an extraordinary depth of personal experiences, humor, and pathos that brings a massive wellspring of humanity to the battle-scarred partnership being portrayed. We’ve found the perfect collaborators to tell a bold, frightening, heartstring-tugging story.”

BTW, The Endless was named one of the best horror movies of the year and is 99 cents to rent on iTunes for the next couple of days.

+ James Ransone discusses shooting It: Chapter 2, currently filming in Ontario.

+ PJ recently met Stephen King and was blown away: “Talking to him you realize that the people who are the best at what they do are always the most open and interested and curious and unique weirdos.”
+ Has seen Jack Dylan Grazer only a couple of times but they were planning on taking a picture like that Spider-Man meme where they are pointing at each other.

+ JDG and PJ's brother Dave go to the same gym. It was actually Dave who first told him that he should play the adult version of Eddie:"My brother actually said when he saw the movie that I would play him. Because he recognized that we look exactly alike."
+ PJ has not shot any scenes with Bill Skarsgard / Pennywise yet:“Honestly, I have not filmed anything with Bill. I don’t know anything about Pennywise. I haven’t seen him around. The mystique on set for this is just as real for us as it is for the audience. Genuinely.”
+ It: Chapter 2 will be released on September 6, 2019. And PJ can be seen on 'The First', currently streaming on Hulu.

  • The page got a new name, but kept the same layout for a few minutes.


  • After a while, it got this new look.


  • The introduction video explains a little more about what NX is, but basically, it's just a new page that includes a lot of fandoms in just one place.

  • People are mad because a page for the Defenders doesn't exist anymore, and many have commented that they're going to unfollow the page.

The question here is: Has Netflix cancelled Defenders? They could have created this new NX page from scratch, but they decided to reuse an existing page for this project. What does this mean for Defenders? Discuss.

Matilda’s new adventures at 30: astrophysicist, explorer or bookworm

Roald Dahl's book Matilda has turned 30 this year. To mark the occasion the book is being rereleased in a variety of different covers with art from original illustrator Quentin Blake imagining what Matilda would have grown up to be.

In his foreword to the new editions, Blake discussed the character. “Since, as a small child, Matilda was gifted in several ways, it wasn’t very difficult. I imagined that for each version of our grown-up Matilda one of her extraordinary talents and achievements would have come to the fore and shown her a role in life,” he writes.

“I am sure that someone who had read so many books when she was small could easily have become chief executive of the British Library, or someone exceptionally gifted at mental arithmetic would be perfectly at home in astrophysics. And if you have been to so many countries in books, what could be more natural than to go and see them yourself?”

Bradley Cooper Addresses ‘A Star Is Born’ Producer Jon Peters

Bradley Cooper spoke for the first time about the sexual harassment allegations against one-time producer Jon Peters. Peters, who produced the 1976 version, has been accused by numerous women of harassment in cases ranging from 1996 to 2008.

Although Cooper needed Peters’ permission to remake the film, he claims he was not aware of the allegations against him. He told NPR:

"With this property, there are many writers that come before — if you see the end credits, it's like, there's 10 writers. And [Jon Peters] was part of the, I guess, the grandfather clause of the movie, and we had to get his consent in order to make the movie. When you're at the helm, it's a huge responsibility. And I guess — I mean, first of all, on the set ... you have to create an environment where everybody feels safe. Everybody. And there's no room for disrespect, nothing. And that's something that you'd have to ask everybody who was involved, but I feel like that's the environment I created. Luckily, Jon wasn't there. And if I had known all those things, I would have done it differently. And I guess it's ... I wanted to make the movie, I knew I had to get consent from him, otherwise there's no film. But I should have checked. I guess that's the thing.

The Producers Guild of America disclosed that Peters is not part of the certified producing team for the new “A Star Is Born." Peters will most likely be ineligible for an Academy Award if the film wins best picture, as the Academy uses PGA determination as a recommendation.

He was on Elvis Duran and discussed some things and mainly parents and deeper side of life.
- Says when he records an album he looks like this "wild mountain man" and then when he comes to play he'd clean up cause he was scared people wouldn't like him if he didn't look a certain way
- His dad had a tumor in his head, so Posner sold his LA home and moved back to Detroit to help his dad in his final year of life before he passed (this was during his last album cycle)
- When he was writing this album Avicii passed, says he was his good friend, "You live life and bad things happen sometimes, but you try to find a silver lining in every suffering and learn from it and this is what my album is about".
- Says if he was more famous like Drake he'd just drop the album but he isn't so he has to do single first etc

Sean Penn has opened up about the #MeToo movement, saying it divides men and women and "it's too black and white."

"I'd like to think that none of it was influenced by what they call the movement of #MeToo. I think it's influenced by the things that are developing in terms of the empowerment of women who've been acknowledging each other and being acknowledged by men. This is a movement that was largely shouldered by a kind of receptacle of the salacious. Well, we don't know what's a fact in many of the cases. Salacious is as soon as you call something a movement that is really a series of many individual accusers, victims, accusations, some of which are unfounded."

"I'm gonna say that women that I talk to, not in front of a camera, that I listen to, of all walks of life, that there's a common sense that is not represented at all in the discussion when it comes to the media discussion of it, the discussion where if Sean Penn says this, so and so's going to attack him for saying this, because of that. I don't want it to be a trend, and I'm very suspicious of a movement that gets glommed on to in great stridency and rage and without nuance. And even when people try to discuss it in a nuanced way, the nuance itself is attacked."

As previously reported, Blink 182 had to drop out of Riot Fest this year because of Travis Barker's blood clot condition. Weezer took over as one of the headliners, and decided to play 'All The Small Things' as a tribute to the band. Little did they realize, Young The Giant did the same cover during their set, which took place right before Weezer's.
