Roseanne blames Ambien for racist tweeting

Despite this fauxpology and asking others not to defend her, Roseanne continues to like and retweet excuses and conspiracy theories. For example, she retweeted the following in response to a "developing story" from a nobody on twitter that claims "ABC president President Channing Dungey had a long conversation via phone with former First Lady Michelle Obama before deciding to cancel the Roseanne show. Michelle Obama was reportedly enraged and insisted an apology was inadequate."
She has also retweeted several tweets condemning her, including one connecting her racism to Trump's America and another calling Black people who voted for Trump stupid.



Check out her twitter feed for more. Her likes are even more of a contradictory mess (claiming she didn't know Valerie is black so it couldn't be racist, that you should never apologize to "Libs," that other comedians are saying worse, etc).

Kim Kardashian and Donald Trump will meet at the White House to discuss prison reform

• After several months of talks between Kim Kardashian and Jared Kushner, Kim is scheduled for a meeting at The White House with Kushner & 45.

• The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star will ask him to pardon a 62-year-old great-grandmother, Alice Marie Johnson, serving a life sentence without parole for a first-time drug offense.

• Kardashian and her attorney will visit the White House Wednesday afternoon where they will meet Kushner to discuss prison reform. Afterwards, Kushner will walk them to sit down with President Trump along with White House counsel.

• No cameras from Keeping Up with the Kardashians will be there to film this, nor will her publicists or sisters accompany her.

• Kim came across Johnson’s story on Twitter earlier this year, then reached out to Ivanka, who then connected Kim to her husband Jared Kushner.

• Jared and Ivanka plan to host Kim Kardashian for dinner at their home after her sit-down with 45.

Norman Reedus Eyeing A $20 Million Walking Dead Pay Raise

Yesterday, the news broke that Andrew Lincoln would be leaving the Walking Dead during its upcoming ninth season and Norman Reedus would be replacing him as the show's lead. With the new position comes a pay raise, and Reedus is currently negotiating a pay increase north of $20 million to lead the show.

Fans on social media aren't happy, to say the least, considering Lauren Cohan was pretty much told to kick rocks for asking for a pay increase closer to her male costars, and Steven Yeun was killed off right before he was due for his pay increase. But no matter, because to AMC, Daryl is crucial to the show!

Ontd Original: Best Horror of 2018 (so far)

We've reached that point, ghouls. We're halfway done with '18 already (ya i know). This year has served some good horror so far, some blockbusters and some not! But we all know blockbusters and ratings don't mean shit (looking at you, Roseanne). So to mark, let's take a look at some of the standout horror in this year.

A Quiet Place

The extended stretches of quiet really added to the jump scares. Originally considered to be part of the Cloverfield universe, that idea was scrapped but the monsters still give me Cloverfield mama monster teas.

Probably the most slept on horror this year, this movie delivered and it was good to see the good sis Selma Blair back in something I would watch. THe premise? Parents get overwhelmed with the urge to kill their kids. It explores the theme of parental regret, both subtle and no-so-subtle, which is still too taboo to talk about and I can see parents watching this and secretly relating. Bonus if you love watching Nicolas Cage freak out.

Gripping, amazing, and gory!! The premise? A group of 20 somethings are carpooling and become a target of a nihilistic Tr*** supporter sniper and they take shelter from the side of their car. Minimal location of filming really lends to the intensity and it has a twist ending you will either love or hate.

A metalhead teen at odds with her mom, Andrea from TWD,Laurie Holden, takes to a spell to kill her. It is cliche that a teen dressing in black and listens to black metal would do something like this...but overlooking that, it becomes a race in time if she actually wants to see it through or no.

The Endless

A decade after two brothers escape a death cult, they get a video from a member they left behind so they go back as a way of also getting closure. They find maybe the worship at Camp Arcadia wasn't bs after all.

Ghost Stories

A professor and paranormal investigator is devoted to debunking anything supernatural. He gets three different unsolved mysteries and can't figure out how to debunk these ones. Hmm!

I met Teddy the night I cut “Stitches” and we’ve had a really special connection ever since then, and for her to feel so comfortable with me and the other songwriters the night she came out… I can’t express how happy that made me. And it’s something I really love to say: it’s a very new thing, right? People transitioning, there are still a lot of people who don’t understand it, and to refer to somebody as a pronoun that you haven’t been referring to them as their entire life, your entire life, is very difficult. But the thing that’s amazing is that I remember the day I said “she,” and it wasn’t because I said it consciously, it was because I said it without thinking, basically just in conversation. I didn’t realize I did it, but she looked at me and she had the most incredible look in her eyes. If every person in the world had one of their best friends look at them that way, and express that much joy in what it meant for her to be referred to as the pronoun she is, there would no longer be an argument [over trans rights]. People would just understand. It’s so powerful to have somebody you’re so close to go through something like that. It’s just f–g beautiful, man. I really wish you could have seen it.”

OP knows we a still recovering from the pop culture apocalypse that was May 29th, so get ready to be bewildered again. Jimmy Kimmel has tweeted that Rosanne Barr needs some compassion and is possibly dealing with a mental illness. Barr's bag was unsecured after making a racist remark about President Obama's former senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett. ABC cancelled the re-installment of her show and several networks have halted reruns of past episodes. Kimmel is a vocal critic of the Trump administration while Barr is a vocal supporter of Trump. Barr blamed her racist remark on her consumption of Ambien, a sedative decreasing sleep onset. *Kimmel once donned blackface in a "comedy skit" when it was brought up recently, he used the lifeline of having a black friend.

They posted their whiteboard on twitter way back, so I knew Hayley was going to die but had been puzzled about how she could burn to death given that hybrids have to be decapitated or lose their heart.

I thought the Klaroline stuff was pretty good, and Caroline looking back now that it's been a number of years and how she's grown since Season 2/3 of TVD.

I have no been a fan of Elijah for a while, mainly because of how they had him acting around Hayley and his obsessive behavior, but I don't like him this way either. He's joined this werewolf hate group and wants to exterminate them from the planet and he only met Greta for a few minutes. Antoinette could have called him and told him something was wrong, not to kill anyone - I'm not sure why she didn't.

I would have rather he decided to separate from his relatives of his own free will, at least for a while (it's not as if they haven't gone decades without seeing each other before). Now, he's putting Hope's life in danger and wants to see her race wiped out when he has no reason to hate werewolves.
