Did Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell get married?

$

BILLY Elliott star Jamie Bell has reportedly married his actress girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood - after the couple were spotted wearing matching gold wedding rings.

The pair, who have dated for just over a year, were photographed at Los Angeles' LAX airport on Monday sporting the tell-tale accessories.

They didn't seem like loved-up newlyweds, looking downcast as they hid behind hats and dark glasses - but The Wrestler star Evan, 25, was clutching a bag of saucy underwear from fancy lingerie shop Kiki De Montparnasse as the couple arrived to catch a flight.

RadarOnline.com have offered further evidence in the form of a witness who claims to have watched Jamie, 26 and Evan queue up for a marriage license in Beverly Hills two weeks ago.

The onlooker said: "I had to do a double take as at first I didn't recognise them. They looked like any other young couple in love.
"They were just waiting in line like regular people, holding hands and at one point Jamie leaned over and kissed Evan - they certainly looked excited and happy."

Evan and Jamie first met on the set of a Green Day music video back in 2005.
They dated briefly then drifted apart and Evan went onto date shock rocker Marilyn Manson for three years.
That relationship fizzled out in 2010 and she rekindled her romance with Jamie last year.
The actress was forced to deny marriage rumours earlier this year when she was spotted wearing a ring on her engagement finger.
She wrote on Twitter: "Sorry to disappoint, but I have been wearing that diamond on my left hand since I was 14. It was my aunt's. Any engagement rumour is false."

Look who just got caught with his pants down—or rather, with no pants at all!

Ricky Martin posted a pic on his WhoSay page showing him in nothing but a T-shirt, his skivvies and shoes, and wearing quite the shocked expression on his face.

Has the star been livin' la vida loca a little too much these days?!

Relax, no need to call the pants police: The 40-year-old will be auctioning off his trousers for charity to help benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a nonprofit that's actively raised funds to help AIDS-related causes for more than two decades now.

The Lovelace actress was seen carrying the political statement fashion accessory on her shoulder as she popped out for lunch with friends in West Hollywood.

The pop art style image is yet another celebrity endorsement for the candidate as he works around the campaign trail.

Actresses Scarlett Johansson and Eva Longoria already backed the President with a video plea to other women to snub rival Mitt Romney and cast their votes in favour of Obama.

Sharon, 54, headed to the luxurious Cecconi's restaurant to enjoy a slap up meal before heading back to her car.

Dressed in ripped denim jeans and a cream off-the-shoulder gipsy style top Sharon kept it simple accessorising with sandals and beaded bangles.

She still managed to look youthful for her age as she causally strolled along the pavement - 20 years after her famed role as seductress Catherine Tramell in 1992 movie Basic Instinct.

Slender Man Movie Producer Wants to Create True Terror with the Faceless Figure

$

The Slender Man has taken on a life of its own since it first crept its way into an old black and white photo on the Internet.

Now thanks to the insanely popular Slender game that has been downloaded countless times and made even more people afraid of the things they can't see, it's inevitable that this mysterious, frightening figure would get the movie treatment.

Baltimore filmmaker Steven Belcher wants to make the definitive Slender Man movie that's more than just a "found footage" remake of the infamous video game or the myth that constantly swirls around him. He plans to make a full length film with a deep storyline and frightening sights that makes audiences ask themselves "Is it worse to be afraid of the dark or the man who is afraid of the light?". He also wants to keep the mysterious nature of the Slender Man in the fans' capable hands and launched a Kickstarter campaign to make it.

Belcher talked with Side Mission about how he stumbled upon the Slender Man myth and video game and came to his decision to make a movie about him, the pitfalls of making a movie connected to a famous video game on an independent level and what audiences can expect when they are plunged into darkness.

SM: What was your first exposure to the Slender Man character?

SB: Well, the character…a few friends of mine turned me on to the popular series like Marble Hornetsand Everyman Hybrid and things like that. So, I would say it was probably a year ago when I started watching those. Then Slender the game came out and from there just pretty much blew up. So, it started out with the video series and then the game is pretty much where I started to get its gravity and I started to research it and all that.

2299286-slender1

SM: What interested you about it? Is it because it was just scary?

SB: Well, it’s actually funny because at the time I was writing another sci-fi thriller, psychological horror movie with an original story, which was entitled "The Storm". Upon researching the Slender Man further, I realized that I was pretty much writing this same exact story as what Slender Man already was. So, I figured instead of, for lack of a better description, bust my ass trying to promote the original story I was already doing, if Slender Man is the same exact thing, I might as well use that as the basis to promote the film since it already had a massive fan backing. So, pretty much what I did is use the similar elements from my previous script and reshaped them into what is the Slender Man script now. So, a lot of the things that I already came up with that were originally Slender Man based, I just wrapped the story around that.

SM: Based on what you know, does it have much of a story? Is there anything in your research that was based on any kind of folklore or anything or is it basically just this thing that is out there?

SB: Yeah. It started on Something Awful. There’s a lot of misinformation out there because…it’s an alternate reality game is what they made out of it. So, a lot of it is made to seem like it’s real but from what I’ve researched there’s not really that much basis in history. I mean there are things that have been created that make it seem like it is. There are a few things here and there, old folklore tales that have similar archetypes but aren’t exactly related. But they’ve wrapped the Slender Man story around that to make it seem like it’s been a part of history forever.

SM: How much has the story that you have now changed from the one that you were starting to write before you decided to meld it with the Slender Man? Is it pretty similar or did you have to adapt anything?

SB: There’s similar themes and similar things that happen to some of the main characters. But as far as the overall story goes, it’s very different now. It has the same underlying story arc, but a lot of the things that happen are strictly Slender Man style and not really related to the script previously in any way. But a lot of the themes, like the hardcore themes, are directly related. But not a lot of the scenes and what happens to the main characters and things like that are the same. The main character himself, besides Slender Man, the hero I guess you could say, is still pretty much the same as it was in the screenplay before. I mean he’s pretty much like a guy who’s in his late-20s, early-30s, had a tormented past and doesn’t really know who he is or who his father was and he’s searching for him and all that stuff. That has made its way over. But as far as what happened to his father and all that is completely different.

slender

SM: Now, I’m sure you’re familiar with most video game movies and how most don't generally consider them to be very good. Is that a concern?

SB: Right. That’s always a concern. But I guess unluckily and luckily, since I am an independent filmmaker and not backed by Hollywood in anyway, I have a lot more leeway. I have a lot more creative control. So that way, since I am a huge horror movie fan…

SM: But how do you make that balance where you make the fans happy but you’re also making a movie that someone who isn’t familiar with it can enjoy it? Do you have to skimp on some things?

SB: Well, you have to think about that making any movie or any topic that already exists, any character, any story. Every filmmaker has to be wary of that. I mean you have to think about things that the fans are going to like and what audience members in general are going to be attracted to. But luckily, with the whole Slender Man universe it’s so vast and there’s so many different things that are a part of it that everybody can find something that they like about it and attach themselves too. It’s surprising to see that not only do a lot of young males like this but also a lot of females. You don’t really see that in a lot of already established stories. Usually, there’s things that guys like, there’s things that girls like and that’s the way it’s going to be. But all kinds of age ranges and male and female across the board are Slender Man fans. That’s just not something you really see. But luckily for us, it makes it easier to not only target the fans but to make it accessible to everyone.

Since it’s such a vast universe with so many different topics and themes, it’s going to be easier to connect everyone to something. I mean there’ll always be those people you’re not going to win over, as with everything. Luckily for us, across the board, it’s pretty accessible.

The Heart of Halo: Actress talks a decade spent playing Cortana

$

0

You probably wouldn't recognize her if you saw her on the street. But if you play video games then you know Jen Taylor.

The Seattle-based actress has spent the last decade giving a voice to (arguably) the most powerful, not to mention most loved, character in the famed Halo video game series. We're not talking about the super soldier known the world over as Master Chief. We're talking about Cortana — the artificial intelligence that is his guide, his partner and his companion throughout the series.

Ever since "Halo: Combat Evolved" launched back in 2001, Taylor has lent her voice to the super-smart, smart-alecky computer-generated woman. And with the highly anticipated "Halo 4" game about to launch on Nov. 6, Taylor is making a return to the series in a dramatic way.

As the developers at 343 Industries have explained, big and terrifying things are in store for Cortana in this game, which finds the human-like hologram approaching a kind of expiration date ... something that first manifests as an AI insanity known as Rampancy. (For more on that see InGame editor Todd Kenreck's video below.)

I had a chance to talk to Taylor about the art of voice acting, the realities of Halo stardom and about how her relationship with Cortana has changed over the years. Here's what she had to say...

You've played Cortana for more than a decade now. As an actress, has your relationship with that character changed during that time?

Taylor: At first she was just a job. So yeah it's definitely changed. At first I was just excited to have a job and then I became more and more familiar, comfortable with and interested in her as she was developed. And I've sort of fallen for Cortana as far as characters go. She's remarkable.

And hopefully that first (game) was alright, but I think that the performance has improved over the years as I've come to know her better and she has become more familiar to me.

When you say you've fallen for her, what is it that appeals to you about Cortana?

Taylor: You know, when I was initially cast, something the guys at Bungie said to me was, 'This character is in your head all the time. She is your best guide and the best aid that you have — the only guide and the only aid really. So we don’t want her to sound naggy, we don’t want her to be a pain.' They wanted her to be like the girl next door, your best friend that you want to hang out with.

And she's that and so much more, because she is so smart. Obviously she knows more than we could possibly know. It's always fun to play a character that is powerful in that way.

She’s powerful in a very different way than Master Chief.

Taylor: Right. They are kind of two halves of a whole.

From what we've seen of "Halo 4" so far, there's a lot happening with Cortana in this game. So as an actress, did you approach things differently?

Taylor: I was given very different work to do this time. The character is going through some big changes. She has quite a different journey in this game from what she's ever had. So I got to do some different things. Did I approach it differently? Not really. I tried to stay as authentic to her as I could. She's just on a different path, if that makes sense.

But it was fun. Really fun.

Why do you say that?

Taylor: Well, there's big drama in this game and, for any actor I think, that's just fun to do. It was fun to, you know, go a little crazy.

Was there anything you did to help take this character down this different path?

Taylor: What was really helpful to me this time around was that Steve (Downes), the man who plays Master Chief, was in the room with me when we were voicing the characters. That's the first time it's ever happened. We've never been in the room together. So our connection is pretty intense.

How does that change things for a voice actor — having other actors actually in the room with you. I understand that's very rare when it comes to making video games.

Taylor: To have somebody go through any kind of an emotional scene there with you — it makes it more real somehow. It feels more authentic to work off of somebody. Even the happy-go-lucky scenes and the wry scenes are more fun. Steve and I get along incredibly well. So it made it more emotional, more intense. Everything is more heightened because you are experiencing the journey with someone else.

You experience it with your directors — your director is taking you through that and the writer is taking you through that. But when you have somebody in the room with you, you can connect with the material even more because you are sharing it with somebody. For example, if you go on a trip to a country where you don't speak the language and you are by yourself, you're only processing that individually. But when you have somebody with you to look at things and go, 'Oh my God, isn't that amazing!' It somehow heightens it, you know?

Outside of your work with Halo, are you a gamer? Do you play the Halo games?

Taylor: I am not. I'm just not good at using the controller! So I have my friends play the games and I watch them. And I narrate along, which is always fun and freaky for people.

You’ll have them play Halo while you'll narrate the game for them?

Taylor: Yeah. Or I just making wry, silly comments. But what's great for me is that I get to see the games too. In all honesty, I had seen very little of the Halo games until the "Halo 3" launch party. At the launch party there was a collage that they did, like a tribute to Cortana. And they had all these different cut-scenes and I had never seen them before.

So it wasn’t until then that I realized that she is as awesome as I thought she was. She is as cool as I thought.

Cortana is not Master Chief but she’s quite iconic and very well loved in the gaming community. At what point did you realize her status among the legions of gamers out there?

Taylor: Oh, I don’t know, I guess I'm still probably processing that. It's not something I have to deal with ever. Being a voice-over actor, people don't know who you are. And it's not something that I process other than I just started tweeting recently. I’m a Luddite so it's taken me this long. But it's been interesting to see the support that I’m receiving from people on Twitter and seeing just how excited people are. So, in all honesty, I have an intellectual concept of that, but it's not something I'm usually aware of.

People don’t run up to you in the street and go, 'Oh my gosh, you’re Cortana!'

Taylor: No, no it doesn't happen. I think in my everyday speaking voice I speak slightly higher than Cortana does, so even if you were a big fan I don’t know that you would really hear me — you know, really recognize her in my voice.

One day you should walk around all day speaking in Cortana’s voice just to see if anyone recognizes you.

Taylor: Order my coffee like I’m going into battle!

Is there anything you do to prepare as an actor when you get ready to step into the role of Cortana?

Taylor: I think that every voice-over actor has to stay in shape. Mentally I don’t get to be privy to anything until I am actually standing in the booth. So as long as I am physically at my top, then I can voice this character to the best of my ability.

But now that the cut-scenes are online, sometimes I will go back and listen to some of them to see, OK, where were we last time? What were we doing? To refresh myself. Because for me, I don't get to voice this character except for every couple of years. So to check back in with the sound of her — who she is and where she’s coming from — is always a good idea.

So you don’t get to read the entire script before you voice her?

Taylor: Oh no. I walk into the studio and once I’m in the studio is when I get to see it. And generally you don’t get to see the entire script. For this game, I did and that is a rarity. But normally you don’t get to. For this game, I didn't get to see the script before hand, not until well into the process. We were probably a week into the process before I got to read the whole script.

That must be interesting as an actor.

Taylor: You have to fill the scene as fully as you can and really rely on your directors to know that you’re in the right place for each scene.

Even though you don’t play the games, you probably know this character better than just about anybody. What do you think people maybe miss about Cortana or what would you like people to know about this character that maybe isn't entirely obvious?

Taylor: I think that what appeals to people about Cortana is that she is an incredibly human character even though she's not. Which is sort of your Pinocchio issue — wanting to be human and feeling like you're more human than the people around you, especially Master Chief.

But what's interesting to me is that, as strong as Master Chief is physically, Cortana is strong in her, if you will, character and her mind. And I don't know that that's really explored — her strengths. Her resolve and her strength.

She's wry and she's sarcastic and she's kind of funny and silly, but she's incredibly strong and people don’t think about that that much. She is one of the reasons Master Chief is so strong. He has this back-up that’s going to carry him through.

Holliday Grainger says she is not afraid of typecasting

Holliday Grainger has insisted she is not worried about being typecast as a period actress, as she thinks the female roles are better.

The young British actress had her big break as a teenage runaway in acclaimed indie film The Scouting Book For Boys, but has since gone on to star in period films Jane Eyre, Bel Ami, Anna Karenina and US TV show The Borgias.

Holliday insisted she is not bored of period roles yet. She added: "I feel like I should say yes to that and go, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah I really want to do contemporary stuff', which I do. But I also feel like it just depends on the part.

"And there's actually an amazing array of great parts for women in 19th-century novels because they were written for women primarily and so the female protagonists always seem to be so much stronger and more complex than in a lot of contemporary stuff that I read."

And Holliday has no problem being laced into a corset all the time.

She said: "I'm fine! I love 'em. Proper game of dress up, it's great!"

Little Mix: "One Direction Are Like Us"

$

Little Mix have stated they believe One Direction are so successful because they are "normal" and "don't take themselves too seriously."

When asked about the secret behind the boyband's success, Jade exclusively told MTV.co.uk: "I think they are just being themselves. They are really humble and they just enjoy it."

Leigh-Anne agreed: "Whenever I see them, they are always just so down to earth and normal. People can relate to that."

Perrie - who is dating 1D heartthrob Zayn - went on to add: "They work hard and don’t take themselves too seriously. They are like us. "

While on the subject of One Direction, we just had to ask Perrie what it was like hanging out with Zayn's famous friend Justin Bieber when he was in the UK.

The blonde beauty revealed: "I just walked in and he was like, ‘Hey, I'm Justin’, and I was thinking, ‘I know who you are’.

"It was just weird as I was like 'Hi, I'm Perrie', because he probably won't know my name but with Justin Bieber, you are going to know who he is."

She continued: "So I was like, ‘Ah, bless him, he introduced himself’ and that was it really. I didn’t want to be in the way of their boys night, so I just went to bed."

Speaking of Zayn's bromance with Biebs, Perrie added: "They are really cute, bless them!"

Since winning The X Factor last year, the girls have found their private lives splashed all over the press, with Jesy stating they try not to read stories in newspapers and magazines.

She explained: "We just find it funny when we do see stories as half of them aren’t true anyway.

"Don’t get me wrong, it is a bit annoying when you see a story written about you in a magazine that is not true because I know before I went on X Factor, I would always read magazines and always believe everything I read.

"Now, I don’t read magazines any more. I only get them to look at the pictures – I don’t read them as I know half of it isn’t true. It just comes with this industry."

Hugo Weaving talks about his role in Transformers, Michael Bay, article writer get butthurt over it.

Talk about classless. Actor Hugo Weaving recently sounded off on voicing the role of Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons in the Transformers films. He wasn’t happy taking the role, so he expressed his distaste for the job and the film series, and how he considers this kind of work as “meaningless.” This angered the director of the film series, Michael Bay, who sounded off against the Australian actor.
In an interview with Collider.com, Weaving talked about his upcoming role in the Wachowskis’ & Tom Tykwer’s Cloud Atlas. While discussing the project with Christina Radish, Weaving talked about his work on all three of the Transformers films.

That’s a weird job for me because it honestly was a two-hour voice job, initially. I was doing a play and I actually didn’t have time, anyway. It was one of the only things I’ve ever done where I had no knowledge of it, I didn’t care about it, I didn’t think about it. They wanted me to do it. In one way, I regret that bit. I don’t regret doing it, but I very rarely do something if it’s meaningless. It was meaningless to me, honestly. I don’t mean that in any nasty way. I did it. It was a two-hour voice job, while I was doing other things. Of course, it’s a massive film that’s made masses of money. I just happened to be the voice of one of the iconic villainous characters. But, my link to that and to Michael Bay is so minimal. I have never met him. I was never on set. I’ve seen his face on Skype. I know nothing about him, really. I just went in and did it. I never read the script. I just have my lines, and I don’t know what they mean. That sounds absolutely pathetic! I’ve never done anything like that, in my life. It’s hard to say any more about it than that, really.

Whether you agree or disagree with the statement, Weaving really doesn’t have the ground to voice it in public and during a recorded interview. Of course, this enraged director Michael Bay (viaCinemaBlend.com), who had his own words for the Award-winning actor. Here’s Bay throwing gasoline on the fire:

Do you ever get sick of actors that make $15 million a picture, or even $200,000 for voiceover work that took a brisk one hour and 43 minutes to complete, and then complain about their jobs? With all the problems facing our world today, do these grumbling thespians really think people reading the news actually care about trivial complaints that their job wasn’t ‘artistic enough’ or ‘fulfilling enough’? I guess The Hollywood Reporter thinks so.
What happened to people who had integrity, who did a job, got paid for their hard work, and just smiled afterward? Be happy you even have a job – let alone a job that pays you more than 98% of the people in America.
I have a wonderful idea for all those whiners: They can give their ‘unhappy job money’ to a wonderful Elephant Rescue. It’s the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Africa. I will match the funds they donate.

Before just rambling, Michael Bay did have a point about doing a job. Maybe this is my way of thinking about work, but if you are getting paid to do a job then you better shut up and do it! No matter what the job is, you should be grateful for having it (even if you think it’s beneath you) especially if you did the job three times and Paramount — the studio behind the Transformers films — paid you thousands of dollars to do it.
Well, since Megatron died at the end of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, maybe Hugo Weaving and Michael Bay will never work with each other again. Hugo Weaving did the impossible; he made Michael Bay look classy.

SOURCE

I love how the writer is trying to make it sound like Weaving is just crapping all over Michael Bay and Transformers, when he' just seems to be just talking about his lacking of connection/investment with the role...rme.

If you get turned on watching RandyBlue.com's gay-for-pay porn star Reese Rideout, his seemingly distraught wife Becki might turn you off completely.

You see, Becki and Rideout recently appeared in a VH1 special called I'm Married To A... And while one woman in the show is married to a little person and Becki is married to a straight man who has sex with other men for money, which is kind of different.

She says she's okay with it, but she frowns and looks away during most of their interview below. Later on, he says that the two of them never ever discuss his work. That's probably the best way to handle it in their case.

Looking at Becki's face, you gotta feel for her. While $1,000 an hour is nice, rare is the spouse who looks chipper while her husband talks about porking others.

Let's hope her off-screen marriage has lots more happiness and smiling than her on-screen one. Otherwise, we might stop fapping to Reese Rideout on Becki's behalf altogether.

The 34-year marriage of Tina and Joe Simpson was destroyed after she discovered photos of a 21-year-old man named Bryce Chandler Hill posing with her husband in their home.

Tina was suspicious when she saw pictures of a man she’d never met in pictures throughout their Encino mansion and flew out to New York to confront her husband.

A source close to the Simpson family said, “Joe got busted after Tina found some modeling pictures of Bryce in her home.”

The source adds, “They were taken in and around the house and she was suspicious because she didn’t have a clue who the boy was. Joe and Tina’s marriage was in trouble and they had a make or break vacation booked in Hawaii, so she didn’t ask Joe any questions at that point.

“However, when they returned to Los Angeles Joe bizarrely got on a plane to New York, just six hours after they had landed in California. Tina enlisted her daughter Jessica’s best friend CaCee Cobb for help in finding out who the boy was. CaCee uncovered some personal pictures of Joe and Bryce posing together and showed Tina”.

Tina and Joe Simpson had it out in the lobby of his hotel in New York, later ending in Tina filing for divorce.

Jessica and her sister Ashlee have had a rough time their parent’s split, which is further complicated with reports their father is actually homosexual.

An insider stated, “Jessica had absolutely no clue that her father was gay, not even the slightest inkling. It was a complete shock to the system, she feels terribly for her mom who was left reeling by the announcement and her sister Ashlee has also taken the news quite badly.”

Borgore gets quite messy in his new video for "Decisions," taking on his collaborator Miley Cyrus in a cake-filled food fight. Filmed at Beacher's Madhouse in Los Angeles, "Decisions" is about, according to Borgore, "How much bitches love cake." But it's also about interpreting "becoming successful, or... the way you look, or because you've got money" as having "cake."
"During the cake fight, Miley asked me to cake her anywhere but her face," Borgore tells Rolling Stone. "It's clearly not part of my agenda but she's pretty, so I cut her some slack."
Borgore's Decisions EP is out now.

britney-spears-2-300   It's a big night for Brit!

Wednesday is the long-awaited first live show of Fox's The X Factor (8 p.m. ET), and Britney Spears, 30, has mixed emotions about the experience.

"I am a little nervous," the pop star told Extra's Terri Seymour. "But I'm excited. I'm really, really excited. I can't wait."

Spears will be joined by fellow judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid.

According to Cowell, the pop star may dress as a witch for the occasion – and for Halloween – though Spears says viewers will have to wait and see to find out what her costume will be. But Spears does expect some special guests to forgo trick-or-treating to be in the audience for the big night.

Of sons Sean, 7, and Jayden, 6, Spears says, "I think they'll probably come to the show, yeah."
