Eminem's First Single Announced???!

After releasing the title of his new album: Revival Eminem became dormant again...cuz obviously that's what you do when the album is due to drop in like ten days... (the struggle is real for Stans tbh)

But today Em finally decided to drop the name of his first single!! I expect it to drop by Friday!!



I'm so excited! I don't expect much promo for this era but honestly, at this point in his career I just want new music!

The View Special Report: Sunny visits Puerto Rico 2 months after Maria

Today on The View, we follow Sunny as she goes to Puerto Rico after the devastation of hurricane Maria. Sunny visits the home of a woman named Blanca and shows us the destruction of Blanca's home. We also get to see a letter from FEMA that states Blanca is eligible for $500 lousy dollars for the damages her home as incurred. We visit a town that was joined by a concrete bridge that was completely wiped away. However, we do see signs of some hope as people work together on the island for survival. Someone rigged a funnel to transport fresh water down from the island that can be used after boiling. Another group of people rigged a shopping cart and pulley system to transport goods across the area that once had the bridge connecting the two parts of the island.

These videos made me cry. The devastation is unbelievable and this footage is really hard to watch.

Former TV anchor says Spacey sexually assaulted her son

- In July 2016, Kevin Spacey sexually abused the teenage son of a local journalist on Nantucket Island.
- The local journalist is Heather Unruh. She was on the anchor desk for Boston's WCVB. She held a press conference with her attorney Mitchell Garabedian, if that name rings a bell he was one of the attorneys who represented the victims of the Catholic Church sex abuse scandal in Boston.
- Unruh said that her son filed a police report last week and provided evidence to them.
- The assault occurred late at night at the Club Car restaurant.
- The son was not of legal age to drink but was bought drink after drink by Spacey. When the son was drunk, Space made his move and sexually assaulted him.
- They are now looking for an unknown woman who encouraged Unruh's son to leave the restaurant when the actor went to use the bathroom.

YA author Maggie Stiefvater wants you to stop pirating books

YA autor Maggie Stiefvater (The Raven Cycle) wrote a thread on twitter about how ebook piracy is harmful to authors and since publishers need to see numbers, if readers want "box sets, extras, fancy editions, spin off series, tours", they have to actually buy books (or borrow them from libraries). She also wrote about it on tumblr.

Stiefvater says that because of piracy, the sales for Blue Lily, Lily Blue (Raven Cycle #3) had a steep drop and that led to the publisher cutting the print run of her next book.

Stiefvater got a mixed response, with many fans complaining that they can't afford to buy the books/ebooks, or can't go to the library, and their country's libraries/bookshops don't have her books.

This led to other YA authors commenting, such as Samantha Shannon (The Bone Season). In her twitter thread, she said that "instead of telling an author they should stop being so mean when they tweet about this, maybe talk to your friend who pirates instead. That friend who shells out for coffee and booze but doesn't think books are worth the money."

6. LITTLE ARCHIE - Every time Archie talks about his childhood he calls himself "Little Archie", which is the dumbest and most Archie Andrews thing anyone can do tbh. This references the Pup Named Scooby Doo-style comic series of the same name about the characters as pre-schoolers.

4. RIVERDALE HIGH OPENED THE SAME YEAR ARCHIE WAS CREATED - In the pilot, Betty mentions that Riverdale High started in 1941, the same year that Archie was first introduced in comics.

2. CHERRY PIE - Flawless Queen Mädchen Amick stars on Riverdale as Alice Cooper, but is most famous for her iconic role as bubbly cherry pie-serving waitress Shelly Johnson on Twin Peaks. Riverdale famously has drawn a lot of inspiration from the 90s cult classic, but the most obvious reference is when Alice Cooper serves up some cherry pie of her own in season 1.

Aladdin star Naomi Scott on reinventing Jasmine for the live-action remake

Says there are a lot of new things about Jasmine in the live-action remake. The people involved in the film "weren’t afraid to really just rip things down and start again, especially the Princess Jasmine character, because it’s so important to get that right."
Says Jasmine in the remake "can be strong and have fun, but also get it wrong and be emotional. She’s a multidimensional woman, and she doesn’t have to just be one thing. So in this movie, you see her go on such a roller coaster, as opposed to her one goal being to fall in love or get married."
Says that casting of Nasim Pedrad as new character Dalia was an important addition as she is the only other female character in the remake. And the original film didn't even have any other female characters apart from Jasmine and her only friend was her pet tiger Rajah. "Dalia may be the handmaiden but they’re best friends; they’re so close because they’ve grown up together. So we wanted people to watch the movie and see Jasmine’s relationship with another woman, and be like, ‘Ah, that’s what I’m like with my girlfriend,’ or ‘We would so do that if I was in that position.’ That’s something that’s missing from the animation.”. She adds that she and Nasim have gotten really close during filming of the movie.
Finishes off by saying that the remake will see Jasmine as the potential leader of Agrabah. “You really get in this adaptation of the movie that her heart is for her people, and her main objective is what’s best for her kingdom. And you really get a sense that she has those leadership qualities within her.”

The live-action Aladdin remake is in production and will be released in May 2019.

* Van Barnes, a transgender woman who has appeared on E's I am Cait and in the Amazon documentary series This Is Me and who worked as an assistant on Transparent, accused Tambor in a post on her Facebook page of sexually harassing her on the set. Amazon is investigating.

* Tambor released this statement: I am aware that a former disgruntled assistant of mine has made a private post implying that I had acted in an improper manner toward her. I adamantly and vehemently reject and deny any and all implication and allegation that I have ever engaged in any improper behavior toward this person or any other person I have ever worked with. I am appalled and distressed by this baseless allegation.

- After a year of only wearing hoodies and keeping herself out of the public eye, Taylor Swift plans to make her appearance on Saturday Night Live on November 11 serve as her permanent return to the public eye
- Source also says Taylor may take her relationship with Joe Alwyn public as well at the Europe Music Awards in London on November 12-- where she leads with the most nominations
- The source also adds that Swift "believes Alwyn is the one for her" and "wants a big family with Joe down the line", and that Swift is "happy to be back in public"
Swift has also changed the date for the release date of reputation on iTunes in countries besides the United States and Canada to November 12 in order to prevent it leaking to North American countries early. The album would have hit New Zealand, Australian, etc. stores by tomorrow morning, but fans now have to wait.

• It started early this month when a fan asked @GlassJohn about the new Rihanna song "Louvre" he announced on Twitter. The fan asks when the song is released in the UK. He responds with "THIS WEEK."

• The fan responds to @GlassJohn asking for more details, what designers she would wear in the music video, and what day. The producer responds with "11.6.2017 DIOR©™"(@Dior)..ETC."

• badgalriri shuts down that rumor quickly by commenting "Liiiiiiiiieeeeeessss" on a Instagram post asking her if it was true.

• November 6th came and went with no "Louvre" for fans in denial.

• It's not the first time @GlassJohn is a mess after he tweeted and teased about the Iconic and worldwide no.1 hit"Kiss it Better" before its release and spilled the Lipton© on the original plans for the ANTI release.

• Rihanna is currently in the studio working on #R9.

Westworld Season 2 to Premier Spring 2018 per Evan Rachel Wood

According to Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood, the show's second season will premier earlier than expected, in Spring 2018.




This news means the recent halt in filming due to medical emergency will not affect the production's final timeline. Season 2 is likely to introduce other worlds in addition to Westworld, including Sumarai World. Young William (Jimmi Simpson) and Logan (Ben Barnes) will also be returning, though details of their storylines are unknown.

Apple TV has given a 2-season ordered to an untitled drama series starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.
There was a huge bidding war among the networks but Apple TV came out as the victor.
There is no logline for the show but it is known that it will be exploring morning shows and the larger New York media scene that they inhabit.
