  • “More than why [Versace] was killed, I think it was why it was allowed to happen,” Ryan Murphy said of the involvement of homophobia in the killing o Gianni Versace, subject of the upcoming season of American Crime Story.

  • At the time, Andrew Cunanan [Gianni's killer] managed to make his way around the country after killing at least five people and despite of he being on the FBI's most-wanted list and assumed to be living in South Florida, Miami police refused to put up Wanted posters [because most of the victims were open gay men according to Ryan].

  • Murphy says that the Versace family will probably like certain things and be uncomfortable by others if they watch the show. He's going to address Gianni being HIV positive which is something that was never pubicly confirmed by his relatives.

  • Ryan also approached Antonio D’Amico [Gianni's longtime partner] to tell him he will make everyone fall in love with his relationship with Versace.

"Piece of Me", has boosted the Las Vegas economy and has been attended by Beyonce, her cheater husband Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and former christian artist Katy Perry. During last night's show a man jumped on stage and instantly got bodied by her hot back up dancers and security lowkey wish it was me. Like the professional that she is Spears gave what the fans wanted and finished the show.

On today's "CBS This Morning" (OP note: I didn't know it wasn't the Early Show anymore... then found out today it ended in 2012.... oop) featured a segment with Kesha reading a note that she would send to her 18 year old self. It's emotional, and touches on her personal issues and resilience. It will probably make you cry. Her new song 'Rainbow' is featured at the end of the video.

Targeted social media callout campaigns are causing a lot of controversy in the world of young adult literature.

The campaigns tend to be driven by adult readers of teen novels who seek to bar problematic works of fiction from being sold at bookstores.

Book publishers don't really care, since to them all publicity is good publicity, and a lot of what happens on social media rarely has an effect on a consumer's spending habits.

One particular book which received backlash was Laurie Frost's The Black Witch, which was called out as being racist, ableist, and homophobic in a review that was posted seven weeks before its publication date.

Despite the social media outrage, The Black Witch ended up charting at #1 on Amazon's Teen/YA Fantasy chart.

In the past few months, young adult novels by Nicola Yoon, Stephanie Elliot, Sarah J. Maas, Erin Beaty, and Maggie Stiefvater were called out for either being ableist, heterocentrist, racist, or having the potential to trigger survivors of eating disorders.

Teen readers, the primary readers of young adult fiction, have chosen to discuss young adult fiction in private groups online away from the adult-driven controversies that flood platforms like Twitter and Goodreads.

And we grew up watching these silly shows — ‘Finding Bigfoot’ and ‘Ancient Aliens.’ It’s our guilty pleasure. And so we thought we’d do a version of our own for a blast and it turned out so fun.”

Concerning Bigfoot:

“The end of the day, on Bigfoot? We found ourselves in some pretty hairy stuff. Legitimately. Wait until you see that episode. You’ll have to be own your judge. I look at things, and I go, ‘Could it be a hoax?’ Completely. ‘Is a lot of it a hoax?’ For sure. But for it to be an utter hoax it would have to be someone hoaxing people for hundreds of years across many different cultures, across many different geographical locations. And maybe everybody had that idea and did it. But what we actually came across in that episode, I was actually on the ground and scared.”

Over the course of the series, Rob Lowe and his sons also visit an underwater alien base, hunt ghosts at Preston Castle, and train with gov’t operatives in methods of remote viewing.

Agencies advise on possible Sunsquatch and Lizardmen sightings

South Carolina Management Division warns of possible paranormal activity during the upcoming solar eclipse on August 21.

"SCEMD does not know if Lizardmen become more active during a solar eclipse, but we advise that residents of Lee and Sumter counties should remain ever vigilant."

Police urge citizens not to shoot Bigfoot

The Greenville Police Department in South Carolina shared news of a Bigfoot sighting in neighboring North Carolina and issued a warning via their Facebook page.

After watching this video from nearby Boone, North Carolina, Facebook followers and friends, I think we can say with some confidence that proof of Bigfoot still eludes us. If you see Bigfoot, please do not shoot at him/her, as you'll most likely be wounding a fun-loving and well-intentioned person, sweating in a gorilla costume.

Wandering shaman 'mistaken' for Bigfoot in North Carolina

A wandering shaman claims that he is the alleged Bigfoot spotted in the North Carolina woods last week.

Gawain MacGregor says that he was participating in a "sacrament" of "wearing of hair-covered animal skins and wandering in the forest". By donning the costume and reciting the sacred sasquatch prayer, he claims to have met the infamous beast on several occasions growing closer to nature in the process.

However, Bigfoot 911, states that it couldn't have been him because the photo looks nothing like the creature they saw and it "moved with speed unmatched by any human."

Zedd on Billboard: Explains 'How It Went Down' with Liam Payne Collaboration "Get Low"

• The song was originally intended for a band [not specified which band].

• "Get Low" started off with chords...produced a beat over it. Started to sound very "Summer-y" and strayed far from what he originally intended. That band turned it down via text which did not surprise Zedd.

• He started working on the song alone and was looking for a vocalist. Cut to a few months later Zedd is introduced to Lime and it was "bro..." at first sight (out of all the Equinox gyms in LA and he had to walk into mine). Lime then visits Zedd at his Hollywood Hills home and they both go on a romantic bro date and share each others music.

• Things weren't always on the up & up however as the brolationship hit a rough patch when Liam was in London and Zedd in LA so recording their duet "Get Low" proved difficult. But like with any power couple the two worked through it and Lime recorded his vocals in London while Zedd completed production in Los Angeles. Fin.

Chris says he admitted to Rihanna that he slept with another woman. She doesn't trust his ass after that and the two verbally and physically fight for months after that.

"...like I don't like you slapping me. If I go on stage I got a scratch on my face and I got to explain it like 'oh I fell.' Or like...or you if you got a scar or bruise you gotta put make up on. I fee like...shit...like I'm not ever trying to put my hands on any female."

The night Chris lost his damn mind...he gets a text from the other woman that says she'll see him at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party. Rihanna reads it and gets upset in the car. Says Rihanna started hitting him and that triggered him to being "mean" and then "punched her" and "busted her lip." Was in "shock" when he saw what he had done to her.

She then "spit" on his face and that enraged him even more. She was then trying to grab for his phone again in the car to throw it out the window. She then "grabs his nuts" and when she did that he says that's when he "bit her arm" while he was driving.

According to James Franco, "[Tommy] didn’t see it until SXSW, and we were unsure of what he was going to think, especially because he said, [mimicking Wiseau’s accent] ‘Greg book only 40 percent true.’ It was like, well, that’s what we based it on, so what are you going to think about our movie? And that screening was so successful, it was like a rock concert. That and the Spring Breakers screening at SXSW [in 2013] would be the two greatest screenings of my life, I imagine. I was like, ‘So, Tommy, what did you think of the movie?’ And he said, ‘I approve 99.9 percent.’ He said, ‘I think the lighting, in the beginning, a little off.’ [Laughs] I told Brandon [Trost, The Disaster Artist‘s cinematographer]. He was like, Yeah, maybe we should watch The Room, get some lighting pointers!”"

The film is based off actor Greg Sestero‘s book chronicling the making of 'The Room' and his relationship with Wiseau.
