In August, U.S. Magistrate Judge William Duffin overturned Dassey’s conviction, holding that his confession was involuntary under the Fifth Amendment. At the time he confessed, Dassey was a teenager and according to court records, his IQ was around the threshold for intellectual disability.

When Judge Duffin tossed out Dassey’s confession earlier this year, he also said that Dassey would be released within 90 days unless the state chose to retry him. The state has appealed that ruling.

A federal judge has ordered that Brendan Dassey be released from prison pending the appeal.

Stan Lee was asked who his favorite villain was and his response was Doctor Doom.

“I think maybe Doctor Doom. Now, I’ll tell you why: Everybody has Doctor Doom misunderstood. Everybody thinks he’s a criminal, but all he wants is to rule the world. Now, if you really think about it objectively, you could just walk up to a police officer and you could say, ‘Excuse me, officer? I want to rule the world.’ He can’t arrest you. It’s not a crime to want to rule the world.”

He continued, saying, “It’s unfair that he’s considered a villain. He just wants to rule the world and maybe he could do a better job of it. So, I’m very interested in Doctor Doom, and I’d like to clear his name.”

- Janet Wright played Emma Leroy on the beloved comedy Corner Gas. The show ran for six seasons and had a movie. Janet played the main character's mom, and the long-suffering wife of Oscar.
- She was the co-founder of Persephone Theatre in Saskatoon and performed at virtually every major theatre company in Canada. She also directed many productions including several at Ontario's Stratford Festival.
- Her film credits include "The Perfect Storm," opposite George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg, and TV appearances on series "Dark Angel,""The King of Kensington" and "The Beachcombers.
- Janet was 71 years old.

i'm honestly crying right now. i loved her on corner gas and i was lucky enough to meet her through work a few times and she was lovely. i couldn't find an article that mentioned it but i know she had been sick for a really long time. at least she can be with her daughter now. rip.

The producer of ZAYN's debut album has revealed details about the British pop star's second album. During an interview with Billboard, Malay revealed this:

"I thought it would be fun to have a platform that was maybe a little less pressure for the artist and then me having the challenge and the fun of creating a new sound. The other part of what I'm doing is representing a little bit more of the culture subliminally with Zayn Malik, who I've been working with. We're talking about doing a song with him and A.R. Rahman together and I'm having Zayn in Urdu, it's real similar to Hindi but it's Pakistani language. It's a modern-sounding song, but for him to sing in that language is kind of powerful."

A.R. Rahman is well-known as India's Mozart with his combination of classical and electronic music. He's done numerous soundtracks and a winner of multiple Grammy, BAFTA, and Academy Awards.

Zayn has mentioned hoping to work with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan as well in his newly released autobiography "ZAYN". Hopefully this means good things are in the works for the teen idol's next era!

In her new book, The Princess Diarist, Carrie Fisher has revealed that she and Harrison Ford had a three-month long affair on the set of Star Wars.

• He was 34 (married with two kids), she was 19


• Harrison drove her home one night when she was "wine sodden" and they ended up sleeping together


• Apparently their first time was not impressive, but she didn't mind because "he really was handsome"


• She doesn't remember much about their affair because of "the brutal strength of Harrison’s preferred strain of pot”

The Princess Diarist recalls the diary she kept throughout the affair, in which she "relentlessly" tried to make him fall in love with her and dreamed that he would ask her to marry him with a "gold band with diamonds (inscribed) 'Carrison.'"
