Canadian band Hedley released yet another new song, off their upcoming new album Hello. It releases November 6th. The song is the title track, "Hello", and you can hear it here...it's a newer sound for Hedley, as usual.

Yes you heard correctly Reeva Steenkamps murderer is to be released tuesday on to house arrest. After serving only a year of his 5 year sentance for shooting his girlfriend the south african parole board have decided its a good idea to let him out of a jail.

The prosecution has appealed against the verdict, saying he should instead be convicted of murder.

- An Egyptian artist, Heba Y. Amin, and two other artists, Caram Kapp and Stone, were commissioned by Homeland producers to write some grafitti on its "Syrian refugee camp set" to add authenticity

- The artists originally showed the producers some pro-Assad grafitti

- Instead they wrote "Homeland is racist", "Homeland is not a show", "There is no Homeland", "Homeland is a joke, and it didn't make us laugh", and "#blacklivesmatter"

- The Arabic script was not checked by the producers (no surprises there, this is the same show that thinks people speak Arabic in Pakistan)

- The artists said they were protesting the false and misleading stereotypes in the series. “The series has garnered the reputation of being the most bigoted show on television for its inaccurate, undifferentiated and highly biased depiction of Arabs, Pakistanis and Afghans, as well as its gross misrepresentations of the cities of Beirut, Islamabad- and the so-called Muslim world in general.For four seasons, and entering its fifth, ‘Homeland’ has maintained the dichotomy of the photogenic, mainly white, mostly American protector versus the evil and backwards Muslim threat.”
