Japanese figure skater Miki Ando greeted the stars of Rush with flower bouquets on the red carpet for the Tokyo premiere of Rush.
The film centers on the 1976 F1 championship and is all about human drama and two genius drivers. Howard sought to make the audience feel the world of F1 as well as the '70s.
Of their trip to Japan, Hemsworth noted that he enjoyed some sumo matches and joked that he would have to put on a few pounds before participating in it. Bruhl, who runs and owns a tapas restaurant in Berlin, found himself charmed by the local cuisine.
Rush opens in Japan on February 7.
