Liotta will star as Freeman Bender, a former soldier suffering from extreme Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He attacks people on the street for no reason and cannot control his outburst. One day, he meets and falls in love with a New York City high school student named Penelope.
Actress Sophie Turner, best known for her role as Sansa Stark in HBO's Game Of Thrones, has been cast as Penelope.
Fresh Cut Grass director Matthew Coppola is directing the indie feature, which is set to being shooting in New York City in January.
