''Walking Dead stars coming to Pop Expo''
A new pop culture convention comes to the Ernst & Young Centre in December, featuring a star of The Walking Dead, the lead actor from Conan the Barbarian and other actors from the film The Boondock Saints.
Ottawa Pop Expo will be held Dec. 7 and 8. It is founded by the same team that brought Ottawa Comicon to the region.
It will feature Norman Reedus, best known as the crossbow-carrying hero Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead. Also attending is Sean Patrick Flannery, who played the other MacManus brother in The Boondock Saints and David Della Rocco, who played the mobster in the 1999 film.
Also coming is Sarah Wayne Caillies who is best known for her role in The Walking Dead. Jason Momoa, who played Conan the Barbarian and starred in Stargate Atlantis and Baywatch, will also be at the convention. Sylvester McCoy, who is in Peter Jackson's Hobbit Trilogy, will also be here.
They will be joined by Tony Moore, a co-creator of The Walking Dead who has also done work for Marvel, Howard Chaykin, the original artist for Marvel's 1977 Star Wars comic book, and G.I. Joe and Wolverine writer Larry Hama, and X-Men: Days of Futures concept artist Geof Isherwood.
