You don’t have to be intimately familiar with every season of The Walking Dead to come up with some obvious defining characteristics.
They’re undead? They stumble? They’re cannibals? They’re pale? They have ripped clothes and bad hygiene? They make for boring premises to horror films?
All of these would have been acceptable answers but no, Christie goes for ‘they’re black’.
Who knows whether it was the fact that both the host and the opponent opposite her were black or whether she’s been listening to too much Nas, but Christie seemed certain of it in that moment.
‘I don’t know if they’re white..or…I just…probably’ she tried to backtrack, as Harvey told her: ‘You shut up lady!’
‘It’s up there!’ she insisted. It definitely wasn’t.
