Check out the video that shows the singer in the studio:
Kelly Clarkson sat down with 107.7 GNA in New York a few days ago. She talks about getting her start in country music, the one song she was dying to do on Idol, and how she met her future mother-in-law. She did reveal she has a full album worth of country material that she has recorded but that due to her current tour with Maroon 5 and finishing up her holiday album, Wrapped in Red, she isn't planning an official release until sometime next year. But fear not fans of such hits as Since U Been Gone and Stronger Miss Independent won't be ditching the pop scene. She is actually a huge fan of pop music. Kelly says she loves the popular music genre because "anything can be popular." In the second part of the interview she answers fan questions like: What is your favorite song off of your greatest hits album? Why she is eloping? What her favorite candle fragrance is? (Hint: It's the same as Britney Spears' favorite candle scent.) And what is her favorite thing to cook? The audio won't embed so I've placed the links below.
