Young & Restless Star Michael Muhney Previews Adam’s Shocking Baby News!
![](http://i.imgur.com/0LrsurE.png)
Adam overheard a conversation between Dylan and Billy that makes him think the baby is actually his own. “Adam’s ears perk up, and all of a sudden, his radar is highly tuned; he hears this, and there’s this ‘Oh my God, what now?’” the actor teases.
There will be plenty of acrimony to come. There’s going to be a lot of battling: Necessary arguments and fights and chess games and power plays are going to have to be made from both sides,” he says, adding that fight scenes are some of his favorite to play with Egan.
“You have a really strong actor in Missy, and one of my favorite things to do with her on stage with the cameras rolling is argue with her. She is one of the few professional actors in soaps that is willing to and wants to run lines over and over again and know them so well that when you go out there, you can overlap lines.
We can really talk about the timing of a scene and make it so realistic that you feel like you’re peeking in on someone’s argument. There are a lot of fireworks that I imagine will be happening, and I get to really sink my teeth in as an actor in scenes with someone who is a really wonderful sparring partner.”
But don’t think that when Adam finds out the truth about the baby, the storyline will be over. In fact, Muhney says that’s not the case at all. “This story sort of leads down a rabbit hole that is going to get deeper and deeper and deeper,” he previews.
“It’s a very intense, emotionally packed story that is not a two-week long or a four-week long or a 3-month long storyline. With Adam, you’re finding out that there are so many other stories to tell that continue falling over like Dominoes that keep the momentum of the show moving into the future.
The things that are developing for him are getting me excited. I’m intrigued, and I also can say with 100 percent certainty that the audience too is going to be very, very invested in this fall and this winter and really find a favorite place in their heart for ‘Y&R.’

A rep for the show confirms exclusively to Soap Opera Network that the pair will first appear on Monday, November 18 — right in the middle of sweeps!
Charles Shaughnessy (Shane) will join Patsy Pease (Kimberly) back in Salem for November sweeps, confirms a show spokesperson. The actor, who last appeared in May, 2012, was open to the idea of a comeback, especially now that Shane and Kim's daughter Theresa (née Jeannie) is in town. "DAYS is a great bunch of people," Shaughnessy told Digest in the 8/5 issue.
"If DAYS is interested, and they see some kind of story, or some way of having Shane involved, yeah, I would go back. It's work and it's fun work. I'm proud of my work on DAYS. Shane was a character the show created, and I helped create. Shane became a historic character. What's not to enjoy about that?"

One Life to Live may not have any lives left. Production company Prospect Park, which acquired the rights from ABC, has put plans for the next season on hold pending the resolution of its breach-of-contract lawsuit against the Alphabet net, as first reported by the Los Angeles Times.
In addition, Prospect Park sued ABC in April, alleging the Alphabet net killed off two One Life to Live characters and effectively killed off a third character to sabotage the online resurrection of the show. ABC called the suit, which seeks $25 million in damages, “baseless” and said it remained “very supportive of the online launch of both One Life to Live and All My Children.”
Many of the soap's characters appeared on General Hospital. During this time, Cole and Hope Thornhart were killed in a car accident. In the lawsuit, PP argues that the characters were on loan to GH and ABC sabotaged OLTL's online reboot by killing them. ABC defended its creative decision to kill off the characters, saying that they "acted reasonably and in good faith at all times."
OLTL wrapped its first online season last month, while AMC's Season 1 finale was released Monday. However, writers are still working on scripts for a second season of All My Children. Propsect Park CEO Jeff Kwantinetz told the paper that he hopes to resume production on AMC later this month.
The lawsuit is the latest bump in the road in the online revivals. In May, a month after their premieres, Prospect Park cut down their weekly episodes from four to two to avoid overloading fans with content. In June, the shows went on early hiatus due to a labor dispute that has since been resolved.

Fans of "Days of Our Lives"— those who still watch the venerable daytime soap — aren’t happy with KSL-Channel 5.
As of Monday, the local NBC affiliate will no longer air "Days" during the day.
If you want to watch the sand fall through that hourglass, you’ll have to either stay up late or set the DVR. KSL is moving "Days" from weekdays at 2 p.m. to weeknights at 1:05 a.m.
Adding to the frustration is that, while Channel 5 can’t find room to air "Days" during the day, it can find room to air "Dr. Phil" twice.
Why is the soap opera off the schedule? I’m guessing it’s ratings-related. But I can’t say for sure, because the folks at KSL have declined to respond to several requests for clarification.
And into that vacuum rushes speculation. If you do a quick search on the Internet, you’ll find fans suggesting that KSL made this decision because of the show’s gay storyline involving Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith).
I’m not buying that explanation, given that Will and Sonny were first seen in bed together on "Days" 10 months ago. KSL tends to be slow on the uptake, but not this slow.
For that matter, "Days" has featured storylines about everything from adultery to satanic possession since long before KSL became an NBC affiliate in 1995.

"When these issues are worked out between Prospect Park and ABC/Disney, we will resume, but unfortunately there is no timetable," Slezak said on her website.
"I sincerely thank all of you for watching and supporting us and keep your fingers crossed for a speedy resolution."

"I don't want to get rid of it; I've had it a long time," she told Newsday about the craziest item in her closet, during the NFL Women's Apparel's fashion presentation Tuesday at Grand Central Station in Manhattan.
"It's a little yellow cropped jacket and it's a life vest -- it has lights and a whistle -- and when things got really long and crazy at work on 'All My Children,' I would put on my life vest."
