MARKETING one single lipstick shade as "nude" is tricky - a perfect match for one person could be a shade too dark or too light for another - which is why L'Oréal Paris has called upon its celebrity spokesmodels to choose their own ideal hues.
Cheryl Cole, Doutzen Kroes, Freida Pinto, Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria and Liya Kebede each worked with L'Oréal Paris colour designer Orrea Light to develop the lipstick shade that best complemented their individual skin tones, and the results make up the Color Riche Collection Privée. The aim is to provide a perfect nude shade for everyone and thanks to the spokesmodels' different ethnicities, the range accomodates women of various skin tones.
"When I put it on I do feel very elegant - it's a very good everyday colour so I can wear it all the time, whenever I want," Kroes said of her colour, Hint Of Pink.
Additional shades chosen by Jane Fonda, Inès de la Fressange and Fan Bingbing will be available in other markets. The L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Collection Privée range is available at Boots stores nationwide.
