When Tilda Swinton first came to the Toronto International Film Festival to promote the movie "Teknolust" in 2002, we had no idea that the actress would begin a love affair with the city which would watch her debut her signature quirky and beautiful outfits.
The 52-year-old Brit posed for portraits with minimum makeup, her Miranda Hobbes red hair cut short and wearing a loose men's suit and tuxedo jacket, unlike most other actresses at TIFF.
From there, the "We Need To Talk About Kevin" star evolved from sporting a simple cardigan (2005) to a draped cowel neck dress (2007) and finally, a green silk bathrobe (2011).
Back in the city on Sept. 5 for the 2013 Toronto Film Festival (the "Orlando" star skipped the festival in 2012) to promote "Only Lovers Left Alive", the otherworldly beauty will most likely confound and astound us with her sartorial choices.
We can't wait!
