Based on the recent trend of daughters of supermodels becoming models themselves, it would be safe to assume that Kate Moss’s 10-year-old daughter Lila Grace may want to follow that path. But judging by her current hobbies, it sounds like she could go the route of a fashion editrix.
Kate Moss told Allure that Lila Grace has a bit of an obsession with the movie The Devil Wears Prada and even likes to reenact scenes from the film: “She’s got a desk in her room with a phone….,” said Moss. “She puts a little outfit on and picks up the phone: ‘Hello, Miranda Priestly’s office. Can you hold? Patrick Demarchelier on the line!’… I died when I heard her do it. So funny.”
Ironically, Moss probably does have Patrick Demarchelier on speed dial. And Lila Grace has been in the very magazine The Devil Wears Prada satires. “She doesn’t have a clue who it is, but it’s word for word. She wants to be Anne Hathaway.”
She may not be able to be Anne Hathaway, but if she wants any job in fashion, she definitely has the right connections.
