The first trailer unveiled for The Wolverine - which hits cinemas on July 26 - confirmed long-standing rumours that Famke Janssen features in the story as Jean Grey.
As far as we can tell, she appears in dreams and hallucinations haunting Hugh Jackman's metal-clawed mutant.
But will she also be in Fox's next entry in the franchise, X-Men: Days of Future Past, along with Cyclops?
Please be advised that there are possible SPOILERS below.
Following reports that said Cyclops actor James Marsden had been spotted on a flight out of Montreal, where Days of Future Past is filming, came news of Josh Helman (pictured above) joining the production in "a secret role." The 27-year-old Aussie actor has facial similarities to Marsden, so the rumour mill has cranked up to the next gear. Will a younger and older Cyclops somehow appear in the film?
Helman is listed as having a stunt double - and so is Famke Janssen. If true, this suggests that Jean Grey and Helman's character (whether Cyclops or someone else) are probably involved in action scenes. It would also be the first time we've heard that Jean Grey is in Days of Future Past

Director Bryan Singer spoke at the CineEurope conference in Barcelona, Spain today, through a videotaped message, about his superhero sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past, which is currently shooting in Montreal. The filmlmaker teased the worldwide scope of the film, in his statement below.
"It takes place all over the world, including in Russia, China and Japan. So there be will more of an international flair than the other films."
One of the countries he didn't mention was France, which we learned last week is the site of a deadly attack, most likely at the hands of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. There is speculation that this attack serves as the main catalyst for the government to create the Sentinels, which hunt down all mutants.
