In September, Janelle Monáe will release The Electric Lady, her sophomore follow-up to 2010's The ArchAndroid. Billboard reports that the record (final details of which have not yet been announced) will feature a couple of very special guests: Miguel and... Prince.
"He is forever my friend, and I am forever indebted," Monáe said of Prince, but did not name the song on which he is featured. Miguel will appear on a song called "Primetime", which samples the Pixies'"Where Is My Mind?"
The album was co-produced by Monáe with Deep Cotton and Roman GianArthur, fellow members of the Wondaland Arts Society. Other tracks on the album include "Dorothy Dandridge Eyes", "Dance Apocalyptic", and "Victory".
