Downton Abbey's finest lady Michelle Dockery has ended her five month relationship with Holby City actor Joseph Millson, and now he's airing their dirty laundry on Twitter.
The actor is said to be "heartbroken" over the split, as the pair have been getting closer over the last few months. Joseph even accompanied Michelle to the Emmy awards in Los Angeles, where she was nominated for Best Dramatic Actress.
But it seems the romance was not to be and Lady Mary called it quits.
The Daily Mail reported: "He’s heartbroken. The split was unexpected and it’s still very raw for him. Joseph’s a really down-to-earth guy. He’s understandably upset."
If Michelle was hoping for gentleman-like behaviour, she would be sorely disappointed.
The soap actor has been posting bitter and not-so cryptic tweets about his ex.
"Just wait for someone worth being in a relationship with, stop wasting your time on the ones who don’t deserve you" He tweeted.
He then added: "Love was a total risk."
Michelle might be in for more heartbreak - as her on-screen husband Dan Stevens is rumoured to be leaving the hit show for a chance at success in America. (Noooo :'()
Dan, aka Matthew Crawley, has relocated his entire family to New York to appear in a play, and isn't sure if he will be making a return to the stately house.
