Her love life is constantly whispered about in gossip columns.
But on Saturday, January cleared her plans to make time for one very important lunch date with the most important man in her life - 19 month old son Xander.
The pair were spotted going out for lunch in Los Feliz, California.
January wore vintage wash bootleg jeans, a tie-dye t-shirt and some brown thong sandals.
She finished off the look with a straw trilby and some dark sunglasses to shield her from the sun.
Xander also cut a fashionable figure in little boat shoes, checked shorts and a grey vest.
They then headed to a gelato bar to get a treat in the Californian sunshine.
Whilst the paternity of Xander is still shrouded in mystery, there's certainly one famous parent he takes after.
With equally fair locks and the same striking eyes, the toddler is looking more like his mum every day.
However, as he gets older, questions regarding who his father is won't disappear.
And whilst others might offer sympathy, January has remained adamant that she enjoys raising him alone.
She told Glamour magazine: 'People keep saying, "Oh poor you, being a single mum". But I don’t want to be pitied. I can do anything I want to do. I work, I date, I have friends. I have time for everything I had time for before. I just have an added amazing thing in my life.
'I don’t think being a single mum is something I need to feel sorry about or need to go to group therapy over. It’s really a joy in my life and that’s it.'
