Good news for Maroon 5 -- the band just earned its third No. 1 single off of the recent album, "Overexposed."
"Daylight" follows "Payphone" and "One More Night" to become Maroon 5's third chart-topping single, Billboard reports. This is the first time a group has produced three No. 1 singles off of one album since 1994 when Ace of Base's "The Sign" provided fans with "All That She Wants,""Don't Turn Around," and "The Sign." (It's worth noting that solo artists have done better; Katy Perry notched five No. 1's off "Teenage Dream," a feat only matched by Michael Jackson's "Bad.")
The track is Maroon 5's sixth No. 1 single in the 20 years of the Billboard chart, tying Beyonce and Mariah Carey. Katy Perry and Rihanna hold the record for the most No. 1 songs with nine each. P!nk has eight, while Lady Gaga and Britney Spears each have seven.
"Overexposed" has performed well for Maroon 5. The rockers' fourth studio album was certified platinum early this year and hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
