Brandi's book has only just been released, but she's already got big plans for it. The 40-year-old star says the tell-all book is potentially being considered for the big -- or small -- screen.
"Just had a talk about turning my book into a movie!" she tweeted. "Maybe we should pitch it to Lifetime. An unromantic comedy!"
The "Lifetime" comment is pretty obviously a reference to her ex-husband Eddie starting an affair with his Northern Lights costar LeAnn Rimes while they were filming the Lifetime Original Movie.
We actually think Drinking & Tweeting would be perfect for Lifetime. It's got ridiculous drama and funny caricatures of real people. So now the movie just needs to be cast.
Brandi calls it as she sees it and it’s rarely nice. In the book, she calls LeAnn “washed up.” At other times, she’s “Eddie’s future ex,”“what’s-her-face” and “fucking ruthless.”
At one point, though, she almost sounds like she feels sorry for LeAnn Rimes. . . almost.
"When LeAnn set her sights on Eddie, she was relentless about getting him, and the damage her decision would cause never seemed to register," wrote Glanville. "She won. I'll give her that. But she also won a marriage full of doubt, insecurities and a perpetual voice in her head saying, 'Is he telling the truth?' For that, I pity her."
Teri Hatcher as Brandi Glanville
Teri Hatcher knows a thing or two about being a Desperate Housewife on television. Since the ABC drama ended its run in 2012, Hatcher has had a bit of a dry spell in her career. What better way to give it a jump-start than by starring as Glanville, who would have been the quintessential Wisteria Lane neighbor?
Lindsay Lohan as LeAnn Rimes
Second time's the charm, right? Though Lindsay Lohan failed to impress in Lifetime's Liz & Dick, we figure Drinking & Tweeting is the perfect next role for the actress, who excels at both drinking and tweeting. If she thought she could relate to Elizabeth Taylor, just wait until she hears Rimes' sob story. If you're concerned about her being too young, well, Lohan looks way older than her 26 years.
Rob Lowe as Eddie Cibrian
If anyone could make this movie enjoyable, it's Rob Lowe. He's already charmed us in Lifetime's Drew Peterson: Untouchable and Prosecuting Casey Anthony, so why not venture into this infamous scandal as well? After all, he sort of does look like Cibrian.
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to notice that our girl NeNe Leakes has been woefully absent from Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and even though the cast is headed out to L.A. for a set visit with her on next week’s episode, viewers are still annoyed by the lack of Leakes.
One such viewer even tweeted Bravo exec Andy Cohen, noting the need for more NeNe, and he responded, “@princessglammy @NeNeLeakes the Glam-ma was shooting two shows while we were doing RHOA - we are showing all we have of her!”
While that may not be the most satisfying answer, Mr. Cohen speaks the truth. During the filming of Season 5, NeNe was hard at work on The New Normal, and we’re still not sure we’ve seen the last of her on Glee, either.
So, like it or not, our girl was busy making things happen in Hollywood.
Yolanda is always on the go. As the star of Bravo's The Real Housewives, she invites cameras into the sprawling Malibu, Calif., mansion she shares with music producer husband David Foster and her three children on a weekly basis, and tells Us Weekly she takes great pride in giving viewers a glimpse of her hectic yet impeccably kept household.
"My days are crazy, like most moms in the world. My days are full every day, but I think that's what makes us women so powerful: A guy could never [balance] that! We're just able to juggle it all [as moms]," Foster tells Us.
"I'm not a great cook, but I'm also not afraid to make mistakes," says the reality star, who famously baked four chocolate soufflés for a picnic lunch with her husband -- in case two didn't turn out to her liking.
While her innate organizational skills impress her friends -- the busy mom tells Us she doesn't just maintain her space to entertain others. "I was born organized. There's just something in my brain ... I have a huge need to be organized," she says.
