The title of the short is The Door and it's described by DuVernay as follows:
The short features Gabrielle Union, Alfre Woodard, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Adepero Oduye (Pariah) and singer-songwriter Goapele and some great music. The first song, "Turn Your Lights On" by Emantive and Ahu sounds like something Prince would have produced and the second song, "Chameleon" (Applejac's Sounds of Mecca Mix) reminded me a lot of N'Dambi's "Deep" (listen here). Finally, Goapele's "For Love" was solid as well, although at first I thought it might end up being a remix of that "Hello (I Just Came to Say)" song that played on those first iPad commercials.
Additionally, the cinematography from Bradford Young (Middle of Nowhere, Pariah) is great, particularly that shot above. He went ultra widescreen for this shoot, shooting in what looks like 2.75:1.
