Courtney Stodden faced a big legal issue while filming "Couples Therapy" with her 51-year-old husband, Doug Hutchison. Wednesday night revealed a few details about what went on with the Teen Bride as the show taped. Since she wasn't yet 18-years-old at the time she was on the show, she wasn't allowed to sleep with her husband at the house where the rest of the cast stayed. Due to child labor laws, the show had a set number of hours required to work with Courtney as well.
It was the first time in the pair's marriage that they spent the night apart. Hutchison and Courtney married in 2011 -- a union that created all kinds of controversy and it hasn't died down. Two "Couples Therapy" cast members in particular -- Nik Richie and Shayne Lamas -- are outspoken about their opposition to the marriage. For Nik it's all about Doug being a child molester marrying such a young woman. For his wife, Shayne, she's uncomfortable with Courtney's hypesexual presence in revealing clothes.
Dr. Jenn Berman asked Courtney Stodden if she had ever been sexually abused or molested because she "presents" in a "hypersexual" way. Read more about it here.
"Couples Therapy" airs Wednesday nights on VHI at 9 p.m., ET/PT.
