Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer-Calvert gave birth to her third child this morning.
“Leah gave birth in the early hours of this morning (Feb. 4) to a beautiful baby girl," a close family friend exclusively reveals. "Mother and baby are happy and healthy. Leah went into labor late last night, and the baby was born this morning."
Rumors began swirling about Leah’s new little one after she sent a cryptic tweet out during last night’s Super Bowl. "Yes, the time is near ... Can't wait to meet you little Miss Calvert!" she wrote at halftime.
Leah’s new addition will be welcomed by her 3-year-old twin daughters, Aliannah Hope and Aleeah Grace Simms, from Leah's previous marriage to Corey Simms.
This is the 20-year-old’s first child with her husband, Jeremy Calvert, whom she married in the spring of 2012.
If the rumors are true and Teen Mom 2 is close to being kaput, then season four might be your last chance to bond with the likes of Chelsea, Jenelle, Kailyn and Leah.
MTV announced today that Teen Mom 2's fourth season will premiere on Feb. 18, two weeks after tonight's season-three finale. A two-hour reunion special hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky will air next Monday, on Feb. 11.
Last week, multiple sources told us that Teen Mom 2 was "definitely on its way out" due to the recent drama involving Jenelle Evans, who they claimed is "too much of a liability."
MTV said in a statement regarding the show's future: "No decision has been made yet regarding a fifth season of Teen Mom 2."
Teen Mom 2's season-three finale airs tonight on MTV.
