Filmmakers Laura Riccardi and Moira Demos got tired of all-around terrible human being and prosecutor Ken Kratz callling their series inaccurate. Say they included both the worst evidence against Allen as well as the strongest reasons to doubt it.
During the course of production they reached out to him 3 times to hear his side and he never wanted to participate.
Riccardi says he's basically trying to come after them because his life is in shambles now and he's trying to protect his legacy (oop):
This is a man who was disgraced. He was forced out of office. He reportedly lost his job, his home, his marriage. He at one point, I believe, filed for bankruptcy. He was named as a defendant in a federal lawsuit brought by one of the victims.[...]I would say that he’s interested in trying to preserve the victory as his legacy as opposed to going down in history as a prosecutor who victimized vulnerable people.
