While most of the marriages end up crashing and burning, the wedding photos last forever. I can't wait until Young Hollywood starts getting married. Can you imagine Taylor's first wedding??

Let's look at some of Hollywood's most iconic weddings. Disclaimer now, I'm not including Grace Kelly. Please don't bring in your pitchforks.

Mick & Bianca Jagger
May 12, 1971




Bianca and Mick met at an after party of a Rolling Stones concert in September of 1970. The two began dating, and in May of 1971, while 4 months pregnant the pair were married in a Roman-Catholic ceremony. Their daughter, and only child, was born in October of 1971. In 1978, after 7 years of marriage, Bianca filed for divorce. She cited Mick's affair with model Jerry Hall (who would later become his 2nd wife).

David & Victoria Beckham

Posh & Becks. One of Hollywood's most iconic couples. The pair began dating after meeting at a charity football match, though Victoria had no idea who he was when they met. Simon Fuller had seen Victoria with a footballer, and quickly laid the groundwork for their introduction.The couple became engaged in 1998, and their first son Brooklyn was born in March 1999. Their wedding was a lavish affair, with a "royal" theme in a Dublin castle. Hence the crowns and swords.


Elvis & Priscilla Presley

**ASTHETHICALLY ICONIC ONLY** Tyga who? Elvis met Priscilla in Germany when she was only 14 years old in 1959. When Elvis left Germany, and Priscilla, they began a long distance correspondence that would last serveral years. Finally, Elvis was able to get Priscilla back stateside to visit him in early 1962. There he changed the way she dressed and put on make-up. When she was finally able to move to the US permanently in October 1962, she enrolled in high school and Elvis' family took care of her while he was off shooting. Eventually, she moved to Graceland full time. Elvis continued to have affairs with co-stars, until deciding after a blow out over Ann Margaret that Priscilla was the one he wanted to be with.

In December 1966, Elvis proposed with a 3 1/2 carat diamond, and the pair was married in May in the Aladdin Casino in Las Vegas.


Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward

Who hasn't thought of Paul and Joanne as the epitome of marriage? Paul and Joanne met in 1953 and became close friends. During the filming of "The Long, Hot Summer" in 1957, when Paul was still married, the two fell in love. Paul quickly filed for divorce, and after it was finalized in December of 1957, the two were married. Paul's wedding gift to Joanne was a silver cup that he had inscribed with the words, "So you wound up with Apollo/If he's sometimes hard to swallow/Use this. They would go on to have a 50 year long marriage, and have 3 daughters. About his successful marriage to Joanne, Paul said, "I don't like to discuss my marriage, but I will tell you something which may sound corny but which happens to be true. I have steak at home. Why should I go out for hamburger?"

Before Ben got his dad bod and cheated on his wife and broke up his adorable family, he married Jennifer in a private, intimate ceremony that their friend Victor Garber officiated. While there are no quality pictures of the event, the idea behind it doesn't make it any less iconic. Especially when ONTD Fave Victor Garber is involved.

Let's be real, Portia could have worn a garbage bag and this wedding would still be iconic. The candlelit ceremony at their home was only an event for 19 of their closet friends and family. They had a vegan red velvet cake and shared their first dance to Stevie Wonder's "Ribbon in the Sky."


Paul & Linda McCartney

Paul says that the wedding between the two nearly didn't happen. They had a huge fight the night before and almost called the whole thing off. The wedding between Paul and Linda was supposed to remain a secret, but when you're a Beatle, that's very hard to do. Paul bought a cheap ring for twelve pounds the night before, and when he showed up to the registrars office the next day, there were swarms of people. The two quickly married and went to church to have the union blessed. No Beatles were present at the wedding. The pair remained married until Linda's death from breast cancer in 1998.


Richard Burton & Elizabeth Taylor 1.0

Richard and Elizabeth met while filming "Cleopatra." The two were drawn to each other and started up an affair, despite both being married. Their affair marked the beginning of paparazzi violations, as their affair was the first big paparazzi scandal. The Vatican condemned them, and Congress barred them from reentering the US upon the completion of the film. After Liz was granted her divorce from Eddie Fisher, she and Richard were married. The pair divorced in June 1974 and were remarried in October of 1975. Taylor later stated that "after Richard, the men in my life were just there to hold the coat, to open the door. All the men after Richard were really just company."
