— TMZ (@TMZ) November 19, 2015Jared Fogle was sentenced to 15 years, eight months in prison Thursday for possession and distribution of child pornography and traveling across state lines for commercial sex with a minor. He must serve at least 80% of the sentence.
- Fogle pled guilty to all chages against him, which include possessing child pornography and travelling across state lines to have sex with a minor.
- The minors he has admitted to having sex with were 16 and 17, but the porn he looked at involved children as young as 6.
- The judge said he is allowed to have unsupervised visits with his two children.
- A forensic psychologist for the defense, John Bradford, partially blames his weight loss on his behavior, claiming a hormone shift put him in a hyper-sexualized state (lolololol ok).
- Bradford also states that Fogle has "mild-pedophilia", which the prosecution forces him to admit isn't a real diagnosis.
- Fogle spent at least $12,000 a year on prostitutes.
- Detective Darin Odier reads texts between Fogle and a prostitute in which Fogle offers to pay the prostitute $400 to find him a 14 year old girl to have sex with, with an extra $300 bonus if the girl is good looking.
- Russell Taylor, Fogle's former business partner, produced child porn using family and friends, then gave Fogle the photos and videos.
- Fogle made a statement apologizing for his behavior and also stated that his wife was a victim because she was now a single mom. The judge, being sassy and awesome, interrupted him to reply "You gave your wife $7 million, so she'll be OK."
