The 2015 Word of the Year is... 😂!

"Face with Tears of Joy" emoji was chosen by Oxford Dictionaries, in partnership with SwiftKey, as the "word" that best reflected the ethos, mood, and preoccupations of 2015. In fact, 😂 was the most used emoji across the world in 2015. Everyone from Hillary Clinton to Domino's Pizza seems to embrace emojis as "a nuanced form of expression":
