Deepika has already been the first ever actress in recent memory to speak out about depression and her struggles with it, and now she has disclosed that she also has OCD.
For her it comes in the form of an obsession with cleanliness that has even lead to her cleaning public toilets, however she said the illness doesn't bother her; “For a lot of people, OCD may be a reason to worry, but my OCD doesn’t disturb me, in fact, I find it very therapeutic.”
She was asked to give advice to someone whose friend has OCD and had this reply;
“I have no idea, I’m not a professional to give that sort of advice but as a friend you should just allow him to do what he does because like for me when I start cleaning spaces around me and my friends point it out, I feel very awkward. I don’t like the fact that they have noticed that I’m being stupid. Let him be and let him do what he is doing.”
