Over the summer it was reported that Pine closed a deal to star with Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman as Steve Trevor. Pine confirmed the casting news and talked about how excited he is to work on a female superhero movie.
"I'm super excited, of course, Gal Gadot is super talented, Patty Jenkins is directing it, and we will shoot in a very traditional way."
