SAG-AFTRA video game voice actors taking strike vote http://t.co/1ZgrfRvS04
— Variety (@Variety) September 23, 2015
-One of the biggest demands of the strike is for the actors to receive "backend bonuses". Backend Bonus, which is becoming more popular on the side of film, would lessen the charging fee of a voice actor upfront but would pay out for a performance bonus after reaching certain milestones post-release
-SAG-AFTRA is demanding that the actor would receive the bonus for every 2 million copies of the game sold
-The union will protect indie game developers from making the residual payments since they don't see the same numbers as triple A games
-A vote is currently taking place, if 75% or more agree all union video game voice actors will stop working until a resolution is reached
All we want is a fair Interactive contract. Please stand with us. #PerformanceMatters#IAmOnBoard2015pic.twitter.com/fISZasDC7W

I love voice acting in video games, but our employers don't seem to think #PerformanceMatters, so I voted YES to strike. #iamonboard2015
