Hugh Dancy
Dancy's next gig is Hulu’s upcoming project "The Way": the premise is based on a controversial religious sect and the complicated interpersonal relationships that crop up in its wake. Dancy will be playing Cal Roberts, the face of the movement, who becomes entangled with a married couple played by Michelle Monaghan and Aaron Paul. So now he's the charismatic manipulator but without the cannibalism... So far.“The Way” is scheduled to premiere winter 2015.
Mads Mikkelsen
Mads is back to film (well, he never stopped filming movies, actually), with the upcoming project “Star Wars: Rogue One,” has him playing a mysterious role that’s yet to be revealed, though Mikkelsen will say that his character is both very important and not the villain and the finished Mænd & høns (Men & Chicken) (I need to watch this crazy af movie).
Laurence Fishburne
Already part of ABC's "Black-ish" and producer of the show, Mr. Fishburne has plenty of work lined up: A&E’s “Roots” remake, “Passengers" with Jennifer Lawrence and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
Gillian Anderson
The Queen will continue with her amazing role as Stella Gibson in the 3rd season of "The Fall", scheduled to begin production late this year; the "Untitled X-Files Revival", going back with the lovely bad-ass Agent Scully for 6 episodes in January, and the new mini-series adaptation of "War and Peace" as Anna Pavlovna Scherer.
Bryan Fuller
The Talented Mister Fuller already got his next gig, this time in the form of Neil Gaiman’s “American Gods.” where he shares the chair of showrunner with Michael Green. The US channel Starz gave the greenlight to the production by FremantleMedia North America in June. Gaiman will executive-produce the series and also write some of the episodes for the show, which will begin production in March 2016.
And talking about American Gods, the casting for Shadow Moon is open, with a deadline of 4 September for applications. The call reads: “Lucy Bevan is looking to cast the lead role of Shadow, male, early to mid 30s, American, black/mixed race/North African in appearance. An ex-con with a quiet intellect and a lithe, powerful frame. This series contains adult content.”
And last, a what I hope is a temporal farewell:
#Hannibal may have dropped the mic, but we're picking it back up for the Fannibals. http://t.co/RqZCH8WhIapic.twitter.com/hNQSKjA77L
