While the 1999 animated film was a box office bomb during its initial run, it has gone on to be considered a classic today as its remembered fondly and still gets aired on tv from time to time. It's probably recouped its losses over the years.
Recently, WB plans to rerelease it in theaters September 30, 2015 and Sunday October 4, 2015 and recently released a remastered trailer. There wil also be new scenes inserted into the film for its rerelease.
But do they have more planned? Or maybe it's just confidence in how beloved the movie still is.
