-Escaping North Korea: Defiance And Hope In The World’s Most Repressive Country is a memoir from 2008 by Mike Kim, a man who moved from the US to China, posed as a student, and helped/aided refugees escaping the country via Crossing Borders.
-Kim will be playing Mike Kim. It's being developed through his production company, 3AD, as well as two other ones (Das Films and Be Funny Studios, the latter being based in Seoul).
-The director hasn't been announced yet. No other stars have been announced either. Rosalind Ross, a pretty much fresh screenwriter, will write the script.
