for the tl;dr crowd:
- his mother had an affair. his father is indeed a black man.
- he says outside of his experiences at home, he has had the "black experience".
- he WAS the victim of a hate crime in 1995
- he DID receive a scholarship from Morehouse, but lost it due to hospitalization because ` of said attack
- he then received a scholarship from Oprah
- conservatives are fucking pieces of shit

it's really sad that he was forced to put his family's details out there like that. fuck all the people trying to destroy the BLM movement. hopefully all these awful rumors will stop being spread around.
