-Editors Mark Paniccia and Emily Shaw wanted to created a character that kids can relate to and have a "Pixar" tone to it
-Moon Girl's real name is Lunella Lafayette, a teenage genius who has big aspirations for the future but once the Inhuman gene inside of her gets triggered, her life takes an unexpected twist. Unlike Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) who embraced her new powers, Lunella wants to control that change. The struggles she goes through is something the editors and writers want the readers to resonate with, both young and old.
-Even though most of the focus will be on Moon Girl it will ultimately be about how Lunella and Devil Dinosaur work together as a team
