So tonight Gina Prince-Bythewood, director of Love & Basketball and Beyond the Lights was doing a q&a for Beyond the Lights using the hashtag DamnNoni. She dropped lots of interesting trivia and facts as she was live-watching. Someone asked if she asked Rita Ora to perform the song Grateful (which was later Oscar nominated) or if Rita Ora asked her to sing it. Here was her answer:
