The 'Price Tag' singer is rumored to be joining the likes of James Corden and Julie Walters in the new film.
Jessie J has reportedly signed up to make her acting debut in a new film based on Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts.
The 'Domino' singer will take to the big screen alongside other British talents such as James Corden and Harry Potter star Julie Walters for the movie, One Chance.
"Even though Jessie's primarily a singer, she has a real talent for acting, too," a source revealed to the Daily Mirror.
It is believed The Voice star will play the girlfriend of Paul's closest friend – played by The Office and Pirates Of The Caribbean star Mackenzie Crook.
"Producers know she works great on camera from being on The Voice," the insider continued. "The script looks set to be hilarious, too – it's really cleverly written and has a typically British sense of humour to it."
Jessie performed in several productions when she was younger and is a graduate from the BRIT school of performing arts – such as the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse and Rizzle Kicks.
The movie will start filming in Swansea and Port Talbot in South Wales next month and tells the tale of Paul who went from phone shop worker to winner of the talent show when he turned to music due to bullying.
Simon Cowell is also expected to make an appearance in the new film.
Meanwhile, Jessie is currently working on material for her second solo album and headlined the iTunes Festival 2012 last night (21st September).
She also recently announced plans to shave off her hair for charity – which will take place on Red Nose Day in March 2013.
